The Dlo lobbying is easier by comparison.

Also, a big portion of the Hinkie fans have a subconscious affinity for Dlo because they know he was apart of the "original vision" for this team, once upon a time.

I was never against DLo, and have been dead set against Lillard, or any aging player, from the onset. The assets it would take to bring a Lillard or even a Beal here would be pushing all the chips to the center of the table, with no escape hatch if it didn't pan out.

Haliburton or DLO. Both work well with Maxey as a starter.

This is worse than the Iguodala for Rudy Gay/Kevin Martin trade proposals and the Okafor saga.

Sounds to me like Morey is just signaling to Sac that a trade is possible but their current offer(s) aren’t there yet. Obviously Daryl is gonna manage fan expectations by saying it’s likely there isn’t a deal by the deadline.

Tobi + Ben + Shake for CJ + Simons + Roco + Nance

Maxey CJ Green Roco Embiid
Simons Curry Thybulle Nance Drummond

Lifts us to 16% chance of chip this year per 538. If we can get them to throw in a pick too... golden.

Dame Powell Harris Simmons Nurk is certainly the best Portland can do. Plus Simmons & Nurk is hilarious

I give up trying to figure this out. On one hand, it’s “someone better pony up or the Kings get Simmons.” On the other, it’s “nothing close is happening”. Oh, and “ignore ballsack dot com”

What’s so confusing? Sacramento isn’t ponying up. Or likely any team for that matter.

What’s really confusing is why people still think other teams are in a rush to give up their good players for Ben Simmons. I get why Morey has to act as if Ben is still so valuable, but it’s clear the league doesn’t agree.

When he was describing everything we are missing and need I was getting major Dejounte Murray vibes

How much better is Ben than Murray at this point? Why would the Spurs have any interest in what the Sixers could offer?

Seeing the transcript, it's clear all roads lead to Harden. Today, tomorrow, deadline, offseason, every move or non-move Morey makes is to get to that point. I think it's clear Morey has enough info that Harden is done with the Nets and Kyrie and he's not long for the Nets. Given that he was forcing a trade to the Nets or Sixers I think it's easy to connect the dots.

Yeah, sounds like the Haliburton and picks package that was mentioned.

I think Morey's envisioning starting next year with a trio of Embiid, Harden, and Halliburton. Everything else are moving pieces.

With everything we think we know.. he's talking about Fox and Haliburton.

"a guy just outside the top 30 and a young guy who might develop into that".

Theoretically... Murray and Vassell of the Spurs could also fit that description.

He also talks about "future possibilities", meaning Harden.

Murray is my dark horse if they really think they can win it THIS YEAR. He’s playing the best and would have the biggest impact of anyone that we could get imo

Haliburton is actually the perfect third cog if Morey has a hunch that he'll be reunited with his pal James Harden this summer via s&t. Hali doesn't need high usage to get his, is a great defender, amazing in transition and can shoot the lights out of that ball.

I love the idea of a Harden/Jo/Hali big three and I couldn't think of a more smooth fitting trio in the league. Would Tisse have to get sacrificed to bring Harden here? Who's our J Rich in the Butler swap scenario.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
