Shake and Korkmaz suddenly very expendable at the end of the bench…all though depth is obviously a premium right now.

I’m starting to think the only way Morey is going to be able to bring another star to Philly is through a 2 part process. Everyone would wine about not getting a good enough player back in the trade above…but now think about going into the off-season with a trade package of Grant, Curry, Maxey, and 2 2022 1sts. That’s going to be MUCH more appealing to any rebuilding team than being saddled with Ben and his max contract.

All I want for Xmas is a Ben Simmons trade. C'mon Santa Morey!

If a team is going to rebuild (which the Sixers should not BTW) they don't do it by trading with the BEST TEAM in the league and sending them better YOUNG PLAYERS than the BEST TEAM is trading away.

I’ve predicted a while ago no trade gets done this entire season

These are the reasons
1. Tanking teams don’t want Simmons cause his “floor” means a few more wins and that could cost them dearly in the lottery
2. Competing teams don’t want to gut their roster of their core players

So sixers are stuck with Simmons

Simmons gonna to lose millions which I’m fine with also at this point. He’s gonna to break sooner than later (financially).

Morey is likely figuring how to unload Harris and Simmons in the off season to tweak sixers roster.

That’s why prediction. Yes. It’s a wasted year for embiid. But let’s try to keep him healthy and not over play him.

We are likely a 5-8 seed at this point. The east is so jam packed.
