Nah, Joe is better. He just hasn't had the opportunity. Even if you go back and compare Maxey and Joe as freshman, Joe is superior. Better per minute scoring production, better deflection stats. And obviously on another planet as a shooter.

That's just your opinion, and your usually wrong. What more do you want Maxey to do besides shoot 3s. And Joe is not close to the defender Thybulle is. You have these wierd biases that make your vision blurry.

Garrison Matthews was sitting on Washington's bench even though he's better than the majority of wings that were ahead of him is similar to Isaiah Joe sitting on our bench even though he's better than the majority of guys ahead of him. Sometimes coaches are just set in their ways and don't give the right guys the right opportunities.

I don't remember Theiss being this awful. Guess it's just what happens when a hustle vet goes to a rebuilding team and doesn't quite hustle as hard. Embiid hardly even acknowledging his existence out there with some of these buckets.
