It really is one of the great stories ever in sports. He’s arguably the only athlete in any team sport ever to come back from missing the entirety of his first two seasons due to injuries (and only play in a little more than 1/3rd of his third season to boot) to become one of the most dominant players ever on both ends of the court. The real question is how long Embiid’s absolute prime will be. I have this vision of him as an aging Kareem exiting his prime when some rookie ala Magic drives him batty at times but ultimately extends his career with multiple championships to boot. I’ve said this a lot, but they’ll be making a Disney movie about Joel Embiid some day.
I somewhat agree with this vision wether blindly optimistic or not but there a chance that with his Bball Iq he becomes even more skilled with age takes less risks and better care of his body and enlongate his career... Ofcourse the haters are banking on him crumbling very shortly because of history but I don't see that as the only possibility.
