Actually, I believe Woj.

The way I see it:
- Harden is pissed, true
- teams talked about Harden trade, true
- Nets are asking for a lot, true
- Sixers don’t want to give a lot, true
- Nets can lower their asking price until tomorrow, true

So, I’d say Nets will lower their asking price a little, and it’s a question of whether Morey will agree or not.

Has anyone been ruled out of a game a full 24 hours ahead a tip that wasn’t a long term injury before? Genuinely asking.

Asking for a friend of a friend of Mark Jackson's friend, I'm sure.

lmao I'm assuming he was asking about a similar situation to Harden in light of the Harden news that he already knew

Last year, if some will recall, I was screaming that Sixers needed to pounce in December for Harden once the Nets stepped away from the table and it seemed like Houston had no one else to deal with. I called it then, when the window is open, you get it done b/c you cannot predict what might happen later in time.

Same principle applies now, Morey can't **** around waiting for the summer. If the Nets are willing to move him you do it now. You can't risk that circumstances change or guys like Riley or other desirable locations don't use the knowledge that Harden is available to plot their offseason moves to enter the fray.

GET IT DONE NOW.

One of the future things though is Harden and his contract though. He can OPT OUT. He can change his mind on us and leave just as easy as he can change his mind on Brooklyn and stay

That needs to be taken into account as well. For me it's Simmons take it or leave it.

It’s actually kind of hilarious how much disagreement there is in the report. Some say no real negotiations, have taken place, others name specific players holding things up, and some are even suggesting it close to done.

Peak trade deadline chaos and I’d expect nothing less from the Sixers.

This is not mentioned enough. Simmons for Harden is a fair trade when you realize it's 3.5 years of Simmons entering his prime vs 0.5 years of Harden who will either cripple us by leaving or cripple us with a monstrous contract.
