He has never and will never play for the Sixers.

BUT... he deserves a thread for delivering us James Harden...

Thank Kyrie here!

Him getting hurt in the playoffs last year may have changed things as well. If he doesn't get hurt they likely beat the Bucks and may have gone on to win the title and then Harden may have never wanted out.

Didn't he come down on someone's foot and turn an ankle? Whomever's foot that was deserves appreciation too.

Kyrie, walking around the flat earth with his staff, actually led Harden to the sixers. ALL HAIL THE FLAT-EARTHER!!

He´s a philly legend, like Muscala, who gave us MAxey.

The only reason he got injured was because Giannis made this really weird but fast/athletic move over from the other side of the hoop to slide under Kyrie. It was just an ordinary layup until then.

Later a video got shared around of how Giannis slides his feet under plenty of other players. It's a miracle he hasn't injured anyone else with all that, and I wish the league would look in to it. It's some dirty sh-t, especially when he does it from the side where you're ordinarily not expecting it.

I don't know if we will. Simmons comes off to me as a headcase being enabled by his psychopath of an agent. I'd love it if we had the right kind of situation (like Miami's) to help get him straightened out, but we have very little confidence in Nash over in Brooklyn-land. I could see the goodwill running out fast and a repeat of the Sixers situation, really.

That said (and as someone who grew up in Philly, always wanting the Sixers to do well), I don't have a particularly great feeling about Beard's future, but for different reasons. He hasn't looked good this season even at the best of times, is getting injured on a regular basis now, and is clearly aging out of his prime. And that as a guy with pretty average NBA athleticism. I fear his upcoming contract could turn in to a real back-breaker for the team.

Will the fans at Wells Fargo give Kyrie a standing ovation on March 10th?

He's a basketball artist, a visionary, and one of the greatest Sixers of all time. One day we will raise his 3rd eye to the rafters.

You really have to question KD's judgment, too. He has now chosen Kyrie Irving over both Stephen Curry and James Harden.

lol. Vince Carter was nicked 'half-man/half-amazing'. Barkley called Kyrie "Half-man/Half-a-season"
