OT: This board is amazing

Post#1 » by Kobblehead » Sat Feb 12, 2022 5:35 pm

This saga was legitimately amazing to live through. Mainly because of the posts made by you all. A lot of highs and lows. Some very frustrating moments. Some moments of despair. All along, the jokes provided much needed levity while we endured it. Thank you!

Either we find a new topic to fight to the death about, or I walk.

Too harmonious around here lately.

I honestly got more out of all the trade threads here than anywhere in the media, and counted on you guys for breaking news, as many of you were all over it.

Between the people on this board and Marc Jackson's friend's friend's friend, it was a one-stop trade deadline shop.

I think the only thing left for people to complain about are Kate and Alaa. Or Isaiah Joe minutes.

Don't forget Tobias. As long as he's here, that issue will never die.

I mean real talk you said some **** alot of us disagreed with, we had 10 posts about it, and carried on. In terms of a disagreement on the internet between ideologically different people, you can't ask for better.

Cheers Sixers forum, we're united because we are all dumb as **** for letting a 7 foot Cameroonian millionaire and the weirdest franchise in professional sports completely dictate our emotions on a day to day frequency.

Perfect. You can close the thread now. Seriously, what more can be added?

Not sure how long this forum has been around, but were there Process threads? If so, they must have been epic.

Oh, don’t worry. Harden has been one of the most divisive players in the league his entire career. I’m sure we’ll be at each other’s throats pretty quickly once people get frustrated with him.

Kobble, totally agree. I know you and I butted heads a lot and sometimes got heated, but at end of the day it just showed how much we all cared about this team and wanted to see the best for the team.

Thank you and thank you to everyone else for making 12 pages of entertainment and a one stop source for any minuscule tweet on the topic.

Now let's all unit as fans and enjoy the monster we have in the making!

The Process threads were great and we truly had an enormous amount of posters back then. You should have seen the Simmons or Ingram throw downs. Sadly, I must admit I hitched my wagon to Benedict.

One day if I'm bored I'll have to check out some of those threads. Tell me, were you a Process or Anti-Process guy? The Process is what got me back into being interested in the Sixers, the time after AI was incredibly boring. I was a huge Hinkie fan, and will always wonder what might have been had the league left him alone.

We are amaza-crazy which totally sounds like a ‘90’s Aerosmith second wave of their career song, and that ain’t too damn bad.

Let’s fight about Joel’s contract.
