If this topic is not allowed on the front page feel free to merge with with another one. I didn’t see one already up.
The last four, or five years we’ve always been dominant at home - and been at best average on the road. This year I believe we have one of the best road records in the NBA.
Just watching every game on NBA league pass it appears to me we come out more focused on the road this year and really laid-back especially against bad teams at home.

My conspiracy theory is that it’s because of Ben Simmons lol. I believe Ben was showing up to film sessions and stuff to at least be present and avoid some of the fines. Must have been super awkward to have him orbiting the team like that when at home in Philly.
He didn’t travel with the team for away games so they got to escape the awkwardness and just focus on basketball.

It's a strong theory. Couldn't have been good to have this cancer moping around:

Because home crowd didn’t have James Harden to root for (yet).
I bet the last 12 home games are going to electric. 10 wins minimum. We can actually win out all the remaining home games.

Who really knows, but I'd imagine it has to do with all the distractions (Simmons, unknowns of who is staying and going, etc.), and it's probably just easier to focus on the task at hand on the road.
I'd be surprised if we didn't get back some of our home swagger in the second half.

I honestly forgot Simmons even showed up to the practices back in October. When was it that he stopped after that?

My theory is that despite his bizarro world revisionism Sixers fans were always very supportive of him and he generally played a good bit better at home then on the road. Once Harden starts playing we will be dominant again at home.
