Celtics is scary if Tatum is making his shots.

their defense is airtight that allows them to make the game close for a Tatum against your go to guy match in end games.

Overall this loss means nothing. We have 19 games left and a good chance to win them all. Still can get #1 seed.

The team showed up in Miami at 3 AM after finishing a tough game the night before. You figure they got to sleep at maybe 4:30 AM. You figure they’re going to come out and play at their optimal level under those conditions?

The fact that this game — without Harden — was close so late in the game should worry the Heat.

Love it when the Heat hit their 3s. It means more Kabooms.

At least nobody got hurt, and our rebounding is kinda better, but trash job on the rotations - having Harden out is not a good excuse at this point for the way Doc is subbing

Shake and Kork have to step up. We have to play more collectively if Harden and Embiid are both not at par with their games.

I wouldnt put too much into this game, overall we just have tired legs while the team is too hardenized right now

Back to back without Harden, lower your expectations.

Matisse with ZERO points in back to back games. And he was on Herro a lot and Herro still got his points. Sometimes I think people overvalue his impact on the game.

bad game for joel to play. i get you want to be the mvp, but this was unneccessary mileage accumulated on your body and for no real reason. this was an obvious loss from the jump and would have been a better game to get to run heavy DAJ to see how he was moving. whatever

agree with y'all, the heat aren't scary. i think harden splices them up over the course of a 7 game series and they aren't the tough gritty team they used to be. they're utah jazz east

That’s how the team is going to function however. The Kansas City Chiefs are also Patrick Mahomes-ized.

Just glad no injuries. Embiid is always going down which makes me nervous every time. The guys were tired. With Harden I think we will match up well. They are not the Cavs so we should be able to get Bam in foul trouble with Harden on the floor doing PNR’s

he sounds like a leprechaun

also this is reminding me of when ben had that public feud with the wizards broadcaster that called him overrated and he went to his next interview session and called him a 5'5 commentator

Just dumb to have Joel even make this trip this was an automatic schedule loss. He should’ve stayed in Philadelphia and rest up for Monday nights game against Chicago. If he insist on playing because he’s going for the MVP - that’s the wrong frame of mind.

We’ll beat Chicago Monday they never beat good teams.

Embiid typically owns Bam. Makes Heat a better matchup than Celtics where the ghost of Al Horford still gives Jo problems.

Re: falling - Embiid does that on purpose just like Steph does to avoid stress on his knees/ankles when coming down.

I’m glad we got to see some of the defensive coverage Miami is likely to use, even if we didn’t react particularly well to it tonight. We’ve got to get better at attacking the zone instead of passing it along the perimeter, and we have to have some answers for the soft double to deny Embiid the entry pass.

Yeah, this one had 'L' written all over it coming off a tough game and without Harden. I wish Doc would lessen the amount of minutes Embiid plays in games like this, I mean he was clearly gassed in the second half.

Oh, and I can barely stand watching with Tobias in the game any more. Just beyond brutal.
