Jokes aside, I'm happy that Embiid didn't look outmatched by Jokic at all, he is still in the MVP race.
Great takes since 2024-04-20

I personally have seen a ton of his games throughout his career. Harden is a quiet, stoic kind of player. He's not "rah rah" in your face, smack talking, pump the team up. He's too cool for school, he's very chill and relaxed. That's James Harden. One of the best guards this league has ever seen. Harden has never...And I mean NEVER been an emotionally charged fiery player.

Overall, you are 100% correct.

He’s not going to be the guy that leads with emotion, but when he makes big plays he will show tons of emotion.

On the bright side...We're not the 2 seed anymore. We're the 3 seed...Which puts us further away from a Brooklyn matchup in the first round in which case we would get bounced in the first round.

Daryl has to get crafty this summer. Our bench is so awful.

WTF are you talking about? We just swept Chicago. We played last night into overtime, flew back home for what we all knew was going to be another battle. This is Philly sports bro. Love it or leave it, but don't cry about it.

team lost because they didn't have any legs, are generally slow as ****, and a lack of depth.

Nothing about "killer instinct" or whatever **** yall are on rn. Team came out w/ fire...and just ran out. Happens on a back to back. had a chance to win this one too.

again not super high on this team, the trade, life, and all that jazz...but the armchair phycology stuff is off base...tonight at least

The problem you’re seeing with this team is that they are highly touted, but opposing teams know they have no backbone and so it creates an easy opportunity for them to beat a “good” team. All you have to do is let them shoot the little bit of wad they have every game and then you can beat them.

The players on these other teams know what they’re dealing with here.

I think the biggest loss on trading away Seth Curry in the Harden deal isn't his on court contributions, it's him as a tradeable asset on a cap friendly contract.

Morey has to get really creative to patch a bench up this summer. Breaking up Tobias' contract into some better fitting pieces would go a long way.

That was a boneheaded last shot by Niang after the the offensive rebound. You’re down three. Even if you make it, you still down one, and no time left. Maxey was wide open and calling for the ball. SMH

Only thing I’m actually kinda mad about after that one is not playing Reed or Bassey for 5 minutes to see if they could inject some energy into the bench unit. Back to back, everyone has tired legs…it’s the perfect kind of game to see if an athletic young big can shift the momentum a bit.

Not that it would have necessarily won us the game but it’s the kinda thing that worth a shot in this situation.

Morey is Rivers' boss. Go into his office and tell him you're playing Reed or Bassey more. Also FFS waive Millsap and sign Tyreke Evans or something. Danny Green looked like he was shooting a wiffle ball tonight.

Niang's shot was clipped by Green, causing it to hit the backboard. The Sixers have been crap in the final moments of games for years now. Harden needs to exert more control in those moments - either he takes the final shot or drives and kicks to the guy who takes the final shot. What happened tonight was awful.

Would you have done better in that situation? With everything moving as fast as it is, time running out? You have to think on your toes quickly. He probably shouldn't have even been in that situation. Harden, Embiid, Harris, or Maxey should have taken that last shot. Not Niang.
