I’d caution grouping Springer in with Bassey. Springer has been much more inconsistent than Bassey in the G league. Bassey should have been playing months ago, but Doc is just as stubborn as Brett.

Bassey’s numbers in limited NBA minutes were good. It makes no sense to send him to the G League when he has promise and fills a position of need on our roster. DAJ is washed and his bball IQ is not good. There’s legitimately no reason to play him and this will be the 3rd team (that needs a C) where he’s unplayable.

This honestly feels like Morey letting Doc get his way so that he can prove that he’s dumb and needs to be fired.
