I certainly wasn't. Whatever Kyrie might be as a person, the personal decision of anyone with regard to having a medical procedure done to their body should be respected, regardless of politics or whether you're butthurt as a sports fan. Are we still living in a free country? Well, I suppose that's debatable at this point.

Politics aside, I supported Flat Earther 100% since his actions served to sabotage his team.

I'll leave it at this, because I hate politics being brought into this board - if Matisse decided not to get another shot, it isn't a political statement, it's a personal decision that should be respected, regardless of anything else. I respect Thybulle private medical decision as I respect everyone choice whether to get or not the vaccine.

For me anyways I think the mandates have less to do with public safety and more to do with punishing people who don't agree with you politically. As the virus continues to mutate and the vaccines get less and less effective at preventing infection (the reason behind the mandates) they just get harder to justify as anything other than political.

Anyways hopefully Canada reconsiders by the time the playoffs roll around and starts following the science.
