All our vaccinated guys vs all their vaccinated guys, feels like a loss, but we need this one. Paul Reed absolutely needs to play in this game after what happened in the last matchup.

Go Sixers

Who is Paul Reed? Did the 76ers just sign him?
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

Probably a loss tonight and I think if we match up with Toronto in the first round we are one and done. They are a nightmare match up for us with their Extreme athleticism and offensive rebounding. I can see them getting offensive rebounds sometimes two or three a possession on us.

Just win PUH-LEEZE! Last thing we need is for these weirdo, creepy Raptor toothed fans to come over here making comments. Not sure who's more obnoxious....Them or Brooklyn fans. Truth be told I'd rather get it from the Boston crowd. They're at least to the point with it. Brooklyn fans are just too dumb to argue with and Tampa Raptor fans just have punchable faces that remind you that daymares are possible.

So here you have a very late-season matchup between two teams that will likely play each other in the first round of the playoffs. That'll very likely give the game a playoff level of intensity for both teams, and it'll be interesting to see how the Sixers' intensity compares to the Raptors'. A win or a loss in a close and very hard-fought game is acceptable -- a blowout loss like the one against the Nets a few weeks ago, or a weak and futile attempt to pull the game out in the end a la the Pistons game of last week, would be highly concerning and would suggest the Raptors will have a significant leg up on the Sixers in the series.

They held us under 90 points last time we played so I’d love to see us run a functional offense here regardless of the final score. Nick Nurse always surprised Embiid with doubles and Harden’s lack of burst probably hurts him the most against a team with wings like Toronto.

my guess is now that the raptors clinched a top 6 spot, they're going to sit fvv to rest him up. og's been out so he may not play either.

I'd be very surprised. They'll have plenty of time to rest them after tonight, and this is a statement game of sorts, especially them being at home. I can't imagine anyone sitting this one out.

Toronto fans are easily the most annoying and it's not close.

Exactly, the play in stuff takes up a lot of time, resting guys now is pointless.

Toronto is like Jo's kryptonite. He has to remain patient for once and just take what is available.

Tobias and Maxey will have all the opportunity in the world tonight as the Raps will focus on denying Harden and Jo.

If the Sixers want to have any shot at a top three seed, they have to win this game.

I agree, but the thing about Toronto fans is they actually are intelligent in how they approach/debate/troll/argue. It makes for a formidable war between us and them. On the other hand, I've seen Brooklyn fans come over here and make comments that suggest that they may possibly have the IQ of a goldfish or lower. So I don't know which is worse? Going toe to toe with snarky Raptor fans...Or arguing with the grown child that is on his third Kevin Durant jersey.

Aside from the smack talk, Toronto just has the right kind of players to throw at Embiid. Lengthy, athletic players that can switch and guard multiple positions is what makes them so awesome. Boucher, Siakam, and Precious (who they STOLE from the Heat) are such a three headed monster. Khem Birch only gets playing time because he has incriminating pictures of Nick Nurse. But those three are just hell raisers on defense and especially difficult for Embiid to deal with. It's going to be a hell of a game and if we do meet them in the postseason, buckle up for a monster seven game rollercoaster series.
