I guess there’s still a shot if we win to get the 3 seed to avoid Toronto and not lose Thybulle, making this game pretty meaningful. So naturally, we’ll either screw around until Maxey bails us out or we’ll flat lose. Anyones guess?

Win both and hope Morant plays the second game of their back to back against Celtics. If so they will be looking to win it to gain some momentum.

If Harden isn't sitting the next two games out Glenn should be summarily fired.

Im going to buck the popular wisdom here and say we should be trying to finish 4th. Despite struggling against Toronto all the games have been close. With home field advantage and plenty of rest between games Harden and Embiid should be fresh. In the playoffs benches are naturally compressed and the Sixers will have the best player in the series by a lot. Miami would be a much easier 2nd round opponent then Milwaukee also. I honestly can't envision them beating Milwaukee. Miami I given them almost a coin flip against. They should look to lose one of these games because Boston might throw a game to avoid Milwaukee in the second round. Boston is not afraid of Toronto. They way Boston has been playing they beat Toronto in 5 games imo. You watch what Boston does against Memphis if the Sixers win this game. They will sit multiple starters against Memphis.

I bet both Harden and Embiid playing this one, because they want to secure at least #4 seed.

Docs thinking: we can’t lose #4 seed, we have to beat the Pistons, and then whatever happens Sunday, happens

Doesn’t matter who we play out of Bulls or Raps. If we can’t beat them then we are no good anyway.

Best thing we can do is rest old man Harden and hope he has some juice for the playoffs. Just make sure he doesn’t use the days off to go to Vegas.

Agreed. People should be careful what they wish for because they might just get it, meaning both the Bucks and Celtics if we happen to get by Chicago. Meanwhile the Celtics will steamroll Toronto and Miami to the ECF.

To me, just worry about having this team ready for the playoffs, meaning Harden should sit both games and Embiid at least one, preferably tomorrow. I'd be stunned if the Celtics don't sit Brown and Tatum on Sunday.
