Nice to see our bench guys getting confidence. And i hope we can find chemistry on 5 man units without Harden and Embiid. Imagine having a 5 man unit let by Shake, Maxey and possibly Tobias then have a 5 man unit of Harden and zembiid.

This is the type of game where Ben would pad his stats

You rested FVV and Siakam, everyone else played. Knicks rested Randle, Robinson and Barrett and still had no problem handling you.

Barneys are a regular-season team overachieving via hustle and grind. Party's over.

If nothing else, Reed has the backup center job on lock for next season. He may even end up playing next to Embiid in the front court. He's obviously got to watch the fouls, but this kid can play. I see Pascal Siakam in the making. Not sure he'll be as good, but the skills are definitely there. It was great to see the young guys play for both teams tonight. Luka Garza was impressive as well. Big guy who hustles, he's got a decent face up game considering all his work was as a back to the basket big in college. Garza is a player you root for at this level. I like Isaiah Livers as well, and Braxton Key was impressive too. This game reminded me of the tanking era where guys like Covington would drop 25 points, TJ would have 13 assists and we'd all be hyped over it. It's really how those guys were able to develop their games. Brett Brown molded some gems with Cov and TJ. Obviously Doc is taking a different approach, he's in win now mode, but it might not be a bad idea to give Reed some time against the Raptors.
