It matters if we play the Bulls over Toronto, but yet it kind of doesn’t.

It matters if Joel wins MVP and/or scoring title, but it kind of doesn’t.

It matters if we head in to the postseason with a mini win streak and some continuity, but it kind of doesn’t.

It matters if Harden gets an extra day of rest, but it kind of doesn’t.

It matters if Paul Reed gets some extended play before the playoffs, but it kind of doesn’t…

Go Sixers

We will win this we have to hope Memphis beats Boston or we are in TROUBLE!! Tornado has won 14 out of 17 and has beat us twice without FVL. These last two games they have made Tobi and James Irrelevant and Joel has played well below average. Hope like hell Memphis wins or it’ll be a loooooooooong off season.

I think our chances of beating Chicago are astronomically higher than beating Toronto, so I guess it matters in that sense.

Anyways, hopefully the big guy has a big game and wraps up the scoring title in styyyle

The path to the finals is better with us playing Toronto in the first round
so would rather have toronto.

While I agree that the Bulls are a far better 1st round matchup, my questions are what is the better path to the Finals, and exactly what is our goal?

4 seed - TOR / MIA / BOS, MIL, or BRK

3 seed - CHI / BOS or MIL / BOS, MIL, or BRK

I submit that if the goal is a 2nd round exit, the #3 seed is preferable, but if getting to the Finals is the goal, the #4 seed offers the better path. Like the Bucks with the Heat last year, exorcise our demon (Toronto) and then we are rolling and only have to face one of BOS/MIL/BRK. Lose to Toronto, and it leaves no doubt of the changes that must be made this summer.

The approach today should be to worry about us and let the chips fall wherever they do. Sit Harden, Embiid, and Green and just play it out. We should be able to beat Detroit regardless.

Welp, guess it's been decided for us.

4th seed it is... Here comes Toronto, **** you Matisse.

Well getting beat by Toronto 4-1 or 4-2 will get Doc outta here and likely not resign Harden. Both a positive in the long run.

It’s basically off season now / time to start taking about upcoming changes. I’d move Tobi for a hard-nose defensive guy, and bring in Bradley Beal. Maxey, Beal, and Joel will be plenty of scoring.

Time to look to next year.

Hunch says Memphis wins tonight. The question is do the Sixers want to face bucks or Celtics in round 2. Not so sure they do.

At least the Sixers would beat CHI before getting swept by MIL. Moral victory.

Then again, losing to TOR is more likely to motivate a coaching change. Bigger picture.

I really hope LeBron wants Glenn as coach. Trade that contract away and start fresh.

They shouldnt care about winning this game. Embiid isnt winning the MVP award and Toronto/Miami is a better playoff road then Chicago/Milwaukee or Brooklyn. Boston is going to lose today you can book it lol. Thats a smart orginization and they arent scared of the Raptors one bit lol. It will be Boston subs versus Memphis subs and Memphis has one of the deepest benches in the league and is at home. If we cant beat the Raptors after a bunch of rest and with homefield advantage and the best player in the series what's the point exactly? So we cant beat the Raptors but we are somehow going to beat Milwaukee or Brooklyn? LLOOOOOOOL. The Heat are a way better matchup they arent that athletic and they are small and rely on team depth which is minimized during the play-offs and there best players are two top 20ish guys while all these other teams have top 5 guys. Sure they have Spoelstra but everyone outcoaches Rivers lol.

Bucks w/a shameless tank job at Cleveland. They're losing in order to duck the Nets.

Now assuming we win then Boston has a decision to make. If they beat Memphis they get #2 and the Nets. If they lose they get #4 and the Raptors. They can't get #3 to face the turriBulls.

Memphis is sitting everyone and their mother so Boston would have to do the same to lose.

Do they want #2 or #4???

Boston wants 2 because Jaylen Brown unvaccinated and would miss games 3,4 and 6 at Toronto

Dodging the Nets who suck is going to come back to bite teams. It’s cowardly, they’re trash.

I’d just like to end the day with no injuries to anyone that matters on the team, if you go into the playoffs healthy, win or lose, you know the level you are at.

We can't go in healthy. Our SF is an alt-right antivaxxer.
