I guess having the most 6’8 guys on a team means you’ll win a series now a days? Talent be damned

Well, we’ve got a 7’2 monster who’s eager to prove he’s the league MVP. Nurse will try to junk it up, but Joel can’t get rattled. We cannot concede a bunch of turnovers and rebounds to this team and expect to win. We obviously need Maxey to score, but his defense on FVV is going to be HUGE. This is his coming out party and I’m excited. B-ball’s 8-10 minutes (Glenn, don’t **** this up) when Embiid sits are the wild card. Can he help push, keep or extend the lead?

Overall, not too worried for this one at all. Go Sixers

If everyone was actually real with themselves, the hope is that as a backup center BBALL can defend and rebound well enough not to **** this up, and not have teams in the bonus before the starters get in, not so much if he scores. He's playing out of position due to necessity.

The Raptors should be the easiest team to defend in these playoffs. The 76ers need to find some defense, and play consistently.... I see them winning this series in 5. Or maybe 6 due to the very disappointing Thybulle situation.

Don’t think I mentioned Reed scoring once.

Yeah Morgan Freeman is great in that movie! Probably my favorite character! Easily between him and John Stamos!

Embiid is amazing and the Raptors do not have Gasol to shut him down this time. Nurse is such a better coach then Rivers though that this is going to be a toss up series. The level of confidence I am reading here is unwarranted. That guy that bet 5gs might be pretty upset here in a couple of weeks.

You are welcome. Embiid is probably my favorite player other then Raptors players, so even if they take out the Raptors I will be cheering the 76ers on. I just keep seeing sweep and 5 games on the 76ers board and feel like the Raptors are not some pushover. I would be shocked if the series does not go 6 or 7 games, but I got to think the 76ers will pull it out at the end of the day because of Embiid. Siakam's eyes light up when he sees Harris in front of him and the Raptors somehow have a deeper team as well and a far superior coach. Expecting an easy series win in 4 or 5 games is not what I see happening is all.

I agree with you and thanks for not being a total weirdo like the other 99.9% of your fanbase. Yeah, it's going seven games and I have the Raptors winning the series but I do and say that for reverse psychology purposes. If you look at my signature I had us at 41-41 before the season started. Then when we were winning more games people were look "Gee Explosions, good thing you were wrong about yer prediction there buddy Uh-yucka yuck." And then I'm like "Well Garsh, yeah, guess I was wrong." But really I wasn't wrong because I knew we'd win more, I just said we'd only win 41 games to gain Jedi mind control over the entire board. Now I'm doing it again, only this time I'm gaining Jedi mind control over all Raptor fans...So yeah, Tampa Raptors in 7. You see, I can't live in fear, so I predicted 41-41 because fear is not my thing ya dig? Fear is that which prevents a Jedi from accomplishing their duty. A Jedi learns to let go of their fears through their faith in the Force and has no shame in admitting their shortfalls when they occur. In this situation, the force is Joel Embiid who is actually the son of Jor-El. It's all very complicated over on the Sixers forum and you Canucks are too condescendingly polite to understand it. Raptors in 7 as long as Precious doesn't fall down a well and get his leg pinched by Katherine Martin who is trying to escape the evil clutches of the cross dressing Buffalo Bill.

Bro .. please do not call Raptor's fans weirdos. We are fanatics by definition. We started the Jurassic Park with the fans outside the games that all the franchises copy now. Did you see the parade when we won the chip? Passionate fan base for sure, but calling us wierdos is a bad look on yourself.

You got some issue bro. Any normal 76ers fans on here that want to chat about the upcoming series?

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
