Danny Green is just salary ballast now. That's why Morey structured his 2 yr deal this way. It was always with one eye on this offseason. Underrated move.

It’s weird how much RealGM hates Philly and Embiid. GB is like 10 threads dancing on our graves.

Just a friendly reminder that Elton Brand is still comfortably employed.

Zumoff saw the writing on the wall and dipped for his sanity. Absolute brilliant move in hindsight.

Everyone hates Philly, but Embiid kind of earned the hate. Showed yet again that he's just not that guy.

Maxey has another level I think. Bassey can likely be a solid backup C. Next year might be early for that, though. And Joe might be able to be a rotation 3&D wing, but again I'm not sure that happens next year.

Rest of these guys are just dudes. (Korkmaz, Milton, Springer, Reed, Thybulle). Hopefully they can get something for them.

I'm not either. Maxey had an outlier shooting season, I am sure he is going to improve in many ways but his 3PT% is almost assuredly going to drop next year. We haven't successfully developed any young talent besides Maxey. Hopefully Jaden Springer is able to play next year because they need him.

I think people "hate" him because he loses his footing way too easily. They assume it's just because he's flopping. While I think a lot of it is flopping I also think it's because he is taught to fall to not put too much pressure on his knees but also it's because he has a high center of gravity. He needs to work on strengthening his lower body and being more rooted to the ground. At this point he falls over like a bowling pin if he received any contact.

I hope everyone crying blasphemy over Jokic beating out Embiid for MVP got a good look at 37 year old PJ Tucker totally out-hustling him throughout this series.

Tonight, Joel 'the gentleman' Embiid practically excused himself so as to not get in the way of PJ eating another offensive rebound/put back amid a 3rd quarter Miami surge to close out the series on out home court. He also had Martin at the elbow to close out the 3rd.... instead of taking him to the weight room he opted for the ultra high percentage step-back three. Nobody hosts like Joel.

Any Philly fans don't do their own bit of HATING (see Huessin Fatale, etc) ??? With a passionate fanbase come a lot of emotions, good and bad.

Who is that? One guy is pissing everyone off about the Sixers on the General Board? Probably for the best I stay away from there.

Honestly, another one embarrassing loss. You cant lose to a team led by Jimmy Butler if you want to call yourself a contender. At this point, the team seems to just be a second round exit, like every year before.

He has to. No excuses. If he can shed some weight and work out all summer, He should be much better than this current version.

There is one thing tho that's in his gene - Mental toughness that would forever be an issue for him.

I am tired of seeing him checked out when it mattered time and time again.

Need to rely a lot less from him, if you want to win championship.

Even if you have Luka Doncic in Harden’s place, if Embiid play like this on defense the gap between teams will be at par because a guy like Oladipo or Struss (who dunked at him) have an easy time driving/scoring at the rim.

Maybe.. you need more than 1 guy who anchors your rebound and interior defense.

You guys talk Jimmy. But the guy we probably need was Al Horford. We would have been much better without Embiid, our rebounding and defense would in paper be better.

Even Embiid said we need someone like PJ Tucker.

Embiid steps out, Heat either scores easy basket off cuts or off ORebs

Do you know playoff switch/zone heavy defense takes time to learn?

Do you know we didnt play this kind of defense until the playoffs but the Heat, Bucks, Raps and Celts have been playing a heavy switch, trap and zone defense all year.

The reason why we dont do it is because we were busy getting Embiid his 30ppg, with a non-switch/trap defensive scheme that allows him to rest at the paint.

Now we try to switch/trap more, guys are lost. There are even times when guys are lost on zone defense.

Even if Jimmy re-signs, nothing will happen if Ben is still point god and Brett does not run pick and roll.

THINK in terms of relativity.

One of the big changes they need to make next year is playing Paul Reed more, but especially with Embiid. Doc is screaming about rebounding, effort and toughness while this guy rots on the bench? Reason #352 why he should be fired.

I keep bringing up Tim Duncan as the actual blueprint for Jo

I wish we could steal Pop and deage him like 10 years lol.

But regardless the offense needs to use Biid as a play finisher rather than the full offense hub.... for Biid's sake and for when things go south we'd have a second option which would be the force it to Biid offense rather than that being the main source of offense.

we just need multiple methods of attack. Far too often we get bogged down into the same issues in which option A is covered and we have no other options. Again that was supposed to be Harden and the PNR...and we went away from it in favor of more isos which ala the Tobias post ups just didn't work and allowed defenses to just stand around and watch.

Team needs to be multifaceted.

they won't tho. Gonna add a few dudes and have a great regular season and get stonewalled in the a playoffs again.
