I would bet on the Sixers but not to cover the 12-point line.

This is what I expect tonight, whether or not the Sixers win.
Haliburton-Maxey backcourt would have been seamless. Unlike the clunky fit with Harden.

I expect us to win, we've been very unlucky in those 3 games, shots were not falling and our players weren't getting calls at all, I expect this to change.

Embiid drop 38 but Career game for Goga Bitadze..
The veteran out of Georgia was big against Joel Embiid in the fourth quarter. He had eight points and seven rebounds, five of them on the offensive glass, in the final 12 minutes, and he ended any type of rally the Sixers had in them.
“It’s just a matter of working hard, I think,” said Bitadze after the win for Pacers. “Not giving up on the play. I knew the shot was going up. They were a little relaxed on defense, take advantage of that, getting good position, getting a good bounce, and putting it back in.”

What i really liked about the Haliburton trade was getting picks (which are likely gonna be lotto) and establishing a solid foundation for the team to still be in contention for the next 5 or 6 years while giving us flexibility on the cap situation.
Harden has been fine and i still have faith in the team but yeah, we're basically at the title-or-blow it up point now.

Also moving off of Tobias would've been huge. Probably still could've signed Harden as a FA if they wanted.

Way premature. As long as Embiid/Harden/Maxey contribute and have normal production curves as they age, we have a 3-year window (counting this year). Maxey is still on the upswing and entering the ages of greatest productivity. Superstars tend to have gentler downswings on their productivity curve, so let's hope that trend holds for Harden and Embiid. Embiid, really, is the wildcard, though. On one hand, centers tend to stay productive longer than other positions as they age. On the other hand, injuries can screw up the curve completely, and Embiid's career could end on any play. That's technically true for every player, but Embiid's injury history makes it a much bigger factor.
I hope the bench (and/or head coach) isn't so bad that this year is a total loss. We have the main pieces we need, and for most teams those are the hardest to find. For us... we can't seem to find the missing pieces.

Maybe we'll get a pre-game comment from Glenn if we should bother watching tonight. Not worth tuning in until they're officially 'ready to win'.

I expect to see minutes from Thybulle, Reed, Korkmaz and maybe Shake if our starting lineup gets ran out the building early in this game
But knowing Doc, I will probably be disappointed

Glenn will run Harden, Maxey, Tucker, and Embiid out there for 40 minutes even in a blowout loss.

The Sixers better be careful. That building has been sold out countless times over the last several seasons, but with other local teams on fire lately, if the Sixers continue to trip up, apathy is going to set in rather quickly and that building before you know it is going to have lots of empty seats. With all the playoff choking, I get a sense the fan base is kind of on its last straw with this Sixers team. Despite on paper coming into the season with possibly the most talented team in the Embiid era, noticeably less buzz around this season than previous seasons. Fans have grown tired of the same nonsense over the last several years and I think it will reflect in the attendance if things don't turn around.

First sixers game in years that I've had no desire to watch. I'll check the boxscore.
