We have a unique, NARROW opportunity to win a championship in Philadelphia with a 33 year old Harden and perpetually-injured Embiid, yet it's being totally sabotaged by the pride, stubborn-ness, and inane logic by its head coach, Glenn Rivers.

Glenn Rivers holds the record for most blown 3-1 leads in the NBA playoffs. He was fired in large part due to his stubborn-ness in playing Montrez Harrell over Zubac consistently against Jokic. He had the corpse of Danny Green guard Trae Young for an entire half in Game 1 two years ago and blew multiple 15 point leads.

Paul Reed had a career game of his life at the end of the regular season last year, and what did Glenn do? He totally shat on him in the post-game press conference. "We're not going on a Paul Reed victory tour." Isn't Glenn supposed to be a player's coach? Why isn't he building up his own players?

Then this season happens...and Glenn plays Harden and Maxey the two most cumulative minutes in the entire NBA until Harden goes down with an injury. Even if the injury never happened, this is the behavior of a coach who does not care about deep playoff success, but only the myopic regular season wins achieved to save his own ass from being fired. His rotations are horrible with not staggering the older players (and overplaying them like PJ Tucker), which has led to the embarrassing transition defense the team has. Jaeger must be face-palming on the sidelines seeing how much Doc is squandering this squad.

The Sixers should be a championship contender, but instead they're a disorganized mess. It's not ONLY Glenn's fault, but he's a primary reason why.

Everyone says Sam Cassell should get a chance to head coach in the NBA. Well, now's the time. Fire Glenn; Promote Sam. This is a fundraiser for Morey's Cameo, where he will have to give a video answer to anyone who pays him $999. So let's force Morey to respond to the fans. Do the owners refuse to fire Glenn because they still would have to pay for his salary? Is Morey actually delusional enough to believe "he's a primary reason we were able to land Montrez" from the RTRS interview over the summer? Does Glenn have blackmail material on Josh Harris?
