Despite the Nets turbulent season with Kyrie's suspension, Ben Simmons becoming a meme version of Ben Simmons, and Durant throwing his teammates under the bus, we should still recognize this team isn't dead only in November.

I still remember getting whooped in March by 29.

No Maxey and no Harden, but if Embiid is feeling like having another historic outing, this would be a good one.

Today Simmons will score 30 points or more, because he will care a lot this time. But make no mistake, he will be the same scrub in the other 95% of games or so, and 100% of playoff games.

Kinda funny how we're going to get cooked on Ben Simmons's first game back due to extenuating circumstances.

No Embiid, Harden and Maxey? This is an easy L unfortunately.

Is Harris even gonna play? Oh man! Simmons at center too where he's actually effective. Watch...He'll have a great game and stick it to the crowd. I can hear him now "Yeah man, it was great to come back here and get a win in front of all these haters." Thing is he'll have done it in the absence of Harden, Maxey, Harris, and now Embiid. OF COURSE, he's going to act as if this is some huge accomplishment. His confidence will then begin to soar through the roof and the Nets will go on a tear and win it all. He'll credit this game as the reason why and how much of a hurdle it was for him to get over by beating a team full of process level reserves. GTFOH, I'm not watching this game. No interest what so ever.

Embiid only missing two games after that injury and Doc not taking him out of the game is definitely a best case scenario.

This match-up should've been an all-timer. What a dud due to injuries. Gotta wait until January 25 for another rematch.

Good, we'll be healthy by then hopefully. There are three teams in this league that I hate losing to more than any other teams in the NBA. They are the Atlanta Hawks, Boston Celtics, and the Brooklyn Nets. We're definitely taking the L tomorrow against Brooklyn, but I fully expect us to beat the brakes off them in January when we are at full strength.

Sixers will win. Shake drops 40, Trez sh*t talks Ben back into his cave, and Tobias shows the world what a true max level player looks like. Gotta be like Lavar Ball and speak it into existence.

Honestly, this game is not all that significant to me. Simmons is gone and going to break hearts elsewhere. I rooted for him when he played, hated that he abandoned the team and very strongly question his love of the game, but it is time to move on and let him be someone else's problem. Too many people here still hyperfocused on him.

The focus comes from the fact he, along Brett Brown, ran JImmy Butler out of town, Ben Simmons stole us the chance to compete for championships for years. Now all we have to show for the process is Embiid and a bunch of nobodies.

But what if the 76ers win? It would go down as one of the greatest games ever......on a Tuesday in November.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.
