Glad Harden is back, but I keep waiting to see a consistent, motivated Joel Embiid this year and it just isn't happening. I mean, we get glimpses, but I think it's very important that he starts to put together a dominant run sooner than later. He's got to look at what AD has been doing in LA and get a little motivated. I want to see a focused Embiid, a rested Harden, and a consistent Shake Milton tonight. LFG!

Minutes. It’s his first game back in over a month. There will be some restrictions placed on his minutes. Plus he will probably be somewhat rusty

Should be an easy dub but nothing is easy on this team. Harden shouldn’t play more than 30 odd mins imo

Keen to see Smith Jr/Green and Sengun. They have a nice core but are missing defensive players and leadership.

Yeah of course 31.4 PPG on 62% TS is not enough, he has to do more instead of the rest of the team playing better.
The standard for Embiid is so high that 31 PPG on 62% TS translates to Embiid not being consistent.

I turn it on and we're up 10-0. Need to hammer these bad teams so good start.

Shake struggles when he has to come off the bench. He HAS to overcome whatever mental block that is giving him. Has to....He's not a starter once Maxey returns. We all know he's capable. Tonight is important for him. He has to get going, find a rhythm, he's going to get his shot with Harden on a mins restriction.

I wonder what it would take to pry KJ Martin away from the Rockets via trade? I really like his game, very active, athletic, can guard multiple positions. Was also a big fan of his dad when he played. Everything has a price, I wonder what Houston would ask in return for him?

I agree. But politically it may be difficult to bench Maxey, even if he still gets big mins ala Herro.
