There have been several changes to the 76ers over the years since they joined the NBA, but what is the most significant in your opinion? (This can include players, coaches and the fanbase).

Guys covering the game on TV is at it’s worst ever. Thank God the big sports outlets are covering this team in the playoffs

If the playoffs weren't televised by the networks I wouldn't be watching. I cut the cord this year, but Sling carries all the playoff games, so it's a bargain for a couple of months. Not that the network crews are all that great, but it beats the hell out of what we're stuck with all season here.

Obviously Wilt, Julius, Bobby Jones, and Moses have been the biggest moves, as they resulted in successful runs and two championships. Greer, Cunningham, Cheeks, Toney, Barkley, Iverson, and Embiid were all excellent and impactful draft picks that brought HOF and close to that level players here.

Firing Hinkie & hiring Colangelo is probably the most impactful shift of my lifetime. A huge what if for the entire league if that never happened.

Drafting Allen Iverson. I feel like the intrigue of the NBA reached its pinnacle in the late 90s and into the 00s. It can be argued that no one had a bigger impact, post-Jordan, culturally on the game than Iverson. Anything prior to 1990 was definitely important, but felt more like incremental changes in elevating the NBA and Sixers brand compared to Allen Iverson.

Hinkie getting to work his magic. Tanking had a method to it's madness and was not just a complete shot in the dark. He tore the organization down to it's studs and really was all about building it up. It was not only great from a basketball sense but the dealing making was awesome the asset collection was great and the hope for the future was through the roof. When the Wolves and the Bucks passed on Embiid you knew Hinkie was just not talking crap, when he said luck plays a big part in the process too. Good times.

Yea I have to really agree with this.
Hinkie was a genius. Colangelo was a Moran.
What might have been.
