Gonna make the thread again, even though my undefeated streak ended in Game 2.

Must-win game as it's unlikely we can steal another one in Boston. Gotta protect homecourt.

Time's yours...

We'll know after half of the first quarter whether the Sixers can win this game.

If the Celtics take the court in the same driven manner they did in game 2 -- which I think is a virtual guarantee -- and that's accompanied by no one's exhibiting the kind of drive for the Sixers Harden did in game 1, the Celtics will prevail.

The Sixers cannot beat one of the best teams in the league when the opposing team is playing in a driven manner and the Sixers have no one spearheading such drive for themselves.

They aren't going to overcome such an opponent with physical talent alone -- they don't hold enough of an advantage (if any) over the opponent in that area. They need a player(s) to spearhead the effort and drive the team, much like Harden did in game 1, although that can be any player(s).

If the Sixers take the court and Harden and Embiid both look flat and it doesn't appear the team will be getting 35+ from Maxey, that'll be all I need to see to determine the eventual winner at that point. The Celtics will cruise fairly easily under those conditions.

This game will again be on Harden's hands, he just can't suck as much as he did on offense, 2/14 is absolutely unacceptable, his defense sucks so he is not like Embiid that can impact the game if his offense is not clicking. Embiid needs to crash the glass more.
And we just need to close harder on 3pters, maybe do an exception with guys like Horford to test him a bit but close hard on the rest.

The building is going to be on fire tonight with the MVP stuff, and I see the Sixers winning. Winning game 4 is going to be the really tough one.

Agree that winning G4 will be much tougher. I expect us to win tonight.

If we win both, then we're for real. But then we'll have to overcome the curse of Glenn being up 3-1 lol.

Give me 3-1 and I would worry about Glenn later.

Celtics are shooting at an all time high in both games I don’t see that changing much. The setup needs changing as there is 4 players to pick on

But what I don’t want to seeing is ball watching on defence. Don’t get sucked into the play looking at you Tobias no you don’t have a 15ft wingspan and you can’t go inside then rush to cover the wing 3 stay put ffs. And yes he gave up about 5 open looks just by his dookie IQ.

Need Harden/Embiid/Maxey to get at least 90pts. Let's go.

Must win game.
