Shake Milton Appreciation Thread

Good guy whose time in Philly was inevitably coming to an end. Career highlight thus far was scoring 39 vs. the Clippers in LA. Never really got a fair shake (no pun intended) under Rivers but the emergence of Maxey and the acquisitions of Harden and Melton pushed him out of the regular rotation. Good luck in Minnesota!

Definitely good luck to Shake. He was really good in stretches but lacked the consistency to stay in the rotation.

That's my guy too...Hate to see him go. Oh well, safe travels and good luck in Minny.

stayed professional and stepped up whenever we called his #. I felt he should have gotten more mins in the Boston series due to his ability to create his own shot and ball handling; especially when Boston was full court pressing Harden. But Doc knew better I guess.

He had/has potential just to inconsistent. I wish him luck with the wolves. Would have thought he'd get more than 5 million a season. Oh well hopefully he'll get some playing time and improve.

Sums up my thoughts perfectly. Good Shake games made him feel like he was the truth but boy were they few and far between.

Good guy that could never put together a consistent run here, but not helped by the former coach even a little bit. Best of luck in Minnesota, hope he gets a real shot at being in the rotation there.

I'm a Shake guy, I'll miss him. Hope he kills it in Minny.

Always nice to see a late second rounder and good guy earn a spot and career in the league. Fare thee well Shake.

Like others have said. I like shake. He just couldn't find consistency. Hopefully he gets steady minutes over there.

Always like him, he is a better player as a starter, he is better when he knows that he is going to play 30-35 minutes, better decisions.
Good luck in Minny !

Solid player but not a team player.

Shake was a great story to follow. I really thought he was putting it all together at the beginning of last season, but it didn’t quite last.

This kinda pisses me off.
Shake Milton is a homegrown piece that has proven to be a good rotation player.
It's one thing if a team overpays to snatch him away and you rather lose him than be stuck with a bad contract. But 2 years, $10m is fantastic value and far below market. Not retaining him at that figure is stupid of us.
Then again, if I was Shake, I wouldn't even answer our call given how we screwed him out of playoff minutes in three straight postseasons.

You've been a good warrior for us, despite being screwed around by Glenn....hopefully you get your shot back in Minny and shock the world....best of luck, bruh

Way too streaky. Best of luck to him that he figures it out, but he won't be missed.

He has had some unbelievable quarters, but never any serious stretches of great basketball.

Shake Milton was a black hole on offense. Not sad to see him go.

That's because no one on the team was able to generate offense for the majority of his time in Philly.
