Hahaha i dont really care about this beef (or kangaroo) with australia nor do i care about my national team.

Every player outside Jordan Clarkson sucks for my national team. Kai Sotto is more like a mascott. Our coach sucks and local coaches feel they’re better than hiring international ones (altho Spo would have been great). My country’s only chance is Jalen Green, who I believe could have qualified for our national team but has played with team USA before.

Yeah, my team sucks. I dont care about Australia. Im just not a fan of guards who can’t shoot or score, you can see how I evaluate guys in the draft. And Australia just seems to luck (or unluck) them selves with 3 of them with Ben, Exum and Giddey (nailed 2 of them that they’d suck, one is on it’s way). I think the root cause of it was my deep fandom with Evan Turner where I eventually learned how the game has changed and its a MUST for guards to be able to score and shoot. While i find it interesting that every year people still fall for it.. just like how Magic recently drafted Anthony Black who I had almost at the end of my mock in the 1st round

Thanks for putting some spice in this thread. I thought im the only one who’s just gonna post in here until the entire FIBA tourney is over. Feel free to make criticisms its more exciting than the sherlock holmes investigation between Morey and Harden on the other thread that gets sidelines to blaming why were here then reverts back to sherlock holmes mode between Morey and Harden

Lets enjoy this fiba tourney, seems like this is gonna be a great one. I still have Canada and US on top of the food chain here. Canada is a good bet at +800 to +900 relative to -125 for US.

I’m very excited to see Ant Edwards play this season. It looks like he’s about to make a leap to All-NBA this year.

Wolves about to run a 5 out spread PnR offense with a starting lineup of Ant/McDaniels/Naz/KAT/Rudy?

Exum is now a good spot up shooter, but he’s not as athletic and quick. He’s a much better player now.

Not a fan of Giddey’s game but his passing is ridiculously good

Finland is just not that good enough and its showing. Porous defense while Australia is letting him cough up the ball and let the other guys hurt them.

Aus looking for a knockout here. Closing with their best 5 to end the 3rd and even with a 10+ lead.

this go to move by giddey is quite effective. Get to the lane, do the “raps offensive package” attack right and spin, collapse the defense and kick the ball or drop it to the open cutter

Canada has the talent to beat a flat USA team in the next 5 years.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
