Pretty self-explanatory. Will our players feel more motivated to win this one for Nurse? I say we get our first win of the season tonight.

NBA will hand this game over to us. The question is.. will we accept it or are we going to “volleyball spike” it to the opposing team.

Scottie Barnes is going to be a problem...Siakam is going to be a problem...Gary Trent JR always cooks us too. It'll be those three that roast us tonight.

Not sure why you guys don't trade for Siakam

Might have to sit this thread out for the obvious reason.

Of course, for Maxey and a first, I'm sure.

This raptors may have even more of a size edge than the Bucks. Going to need another good game from Maxey hopefully he can use his speed to get by defenders and break down the defense. I could be wrong but I don't see this being a high scoring game.

Curious to see how Oubre follows up his great scoring night.

Bounce back game from Melton

Hoping to see more Springer and House than Pat and Green but that's wishful thinking.

Out of shape Embiid under 3 turnovers please

Would like to see more out of Reed.

I think Barnes will have a nice game has a huge size advantage in the backcourt...

This is a game where we should just bench PJ & rest him. He’s gonna be useless against their length/athleticism.

I guess Oubre defends Trent or Schroder. Don't want him trying to deal with one of their 230 pounders.

No, I was thinking sending Harden to Clippers and Siakam goes to Philly. Both Philly and Clippers send Raptors a first each along with Norm Powell and other filler contracts

Can someone explain why the **** Embiid was out of shape for the offseason?

Last year he had plantar, I get it. This year, he had already healed from his partially torn ligament, and we had seen photos of him in great shape. Are we seriously saying that he lost conditioning because he didnt' play in the preseason because he had doody cheeks for a day or two?

Love the dude, but never seen someone lose conditioning faster. Why kind of training does he go through in the offseason. I get game speed can't be replicated, but there has to be something to make sure it's as close as possible. Do some more cardio or something, jeez!

Couple of things

Mentality and ethics - I’ve seen enough to believe Embiid isn’t up to par with other Superstars. Jokic got his sh*t together no reason why Embiid can’t

Health - Him and AD carry too much weight. It’s pretty simple and self explanatory, he’s approaching 30 and still hasn’t learned how to properly manage his weight and take care of his movement. He did it for one year with conditioning and still got injured at the end lol.

Lifestyle - These all tie in together but something is up. We the public have no clue if they’ve addressed the elephant in the room but Embiid does lack in a lot of areas of professionalism.

Yeah I agree. It's a shame, if he was at most 15 lbs more than his college weight he would have been such a different player, his career might have gone differently too. Less chance for injuries, faster in transition, would be able to elevate more for his alley-oops (dude was a great lob threat in college). Not sure what idiot said hey, during your 2 years of navicular surgery, go ahead and gaine 50lbs. He did put on a lot of muscle, but he didn't need that much.

I forgot Jalen McDaniels ended up in Toronto.

Still wish we would have kept him at $4.6m per year.

Having he and Oubre on the wings athletically would be something to witness. Also, maybe we get lucky and catch them on good shooting years.

McDaniels is one of several players (Joe, Bassey, etc.) I would have liked to see here outside of Glenn's clutches.
