This one's gonna be tough. Maybe we'll get lucky due to it being so early and the Suns' first game on their East Coast trip. We'll see I guess. Hopefully Maxey balls out on his birthday.

This game and Boston may be the games that bully us into looking for a defensive wing :lol:

Maxey and Embiid are going to have to match KD and Booker. First big All NBA Maxey campaign unless you count opening night. What’s the Supermax rookie scale extension? We might not want him making All NBA :lol:

Phoenix looks fairly mediocre right now. I realize Chris Paul isn't what he used to be, but they are missing a true point guard out there on the floor. Kevin Durant is 35 years old, Devin Booker is a great guard, but he's a bit overrated, and Brad Beal is NEVER healthy these days. They lack depth, they don't have any rim protection. They're a playoff team I'll give them that. They're a good test for us early to see where we stand, but I don't see Phoenix as a contending team.

Batum is still not available and I believe Morris is a GTD. Therefore I'd like to see more Furk and Springer again today. Maybe Cov also if he has had a chance to learn the schemes. Otherwise no problem holding him out for another game or two and seeing what we have elsewhere.

No reason to be scared of anyone. Interesting matchups like this one are the best thing about the long regular season.

Funny how national media sites are hyping the silly "in-season tournament". I can't imagine that fans give a rat's ass about it.
