Well deserved extension to coincide with Nick Nurse's contract. They're tied at the hip now, which makes sense. Finally, Morey got "his guy" to coach.

It's nice to finally have great management AND great coaching. Only took the ownership 12 years to make it happen lol.

Every coach Morey hires will be “his guy”.

If there's any bright side to this, it's that Morey probably won't feel pressured to make a high-risk, desperate move to avoid getting fired. This typically occurs when the team's window is closing, and there are limited assets available.

Most importantly, it means Harden wont be a Sixer till 2028.

He deserves credit for how successful this team has been. So happy he's staying with us. He's a smart man who knows how to build contending teams.

Fantastic news. It's great to have the first solid GM-coach tandem since Hinkie was forced out remaining in place for the next few seasons. This also hopefully reduces the potential of an awful desperation move like Lavine.

Along with aligning with Nurse it’s a year past the last year of Embiid’s deal and the 2027 pick that they owe. Seems like it keeps everyone’s interests in step.

Makes sense syncing his deal with Nurse’s and giving Joel a taste of continuity, but let’s be honest this is Harris saying imma be busy with my new NFL tiy for the next bunch of years.

An excellent move to lock him up. I know we have played some crappy teams recently, but I like the moves he’s made to our bench to make it a little more respectable. I’m kinda interested in the contract Harris will be seeking in the off season. He’s been playing a lot better under nurse.

Added: Plus he pulled off a great trade with Harden, getting that cancer off the team and bringing back the great Covington to Philly.

Guy will be lauded as a magician if he manages to get value for Toby's expiring. Still shocked the brother put up 3 shots for 3 points in the last outing.
