Bulky bigs like Nurkic? No.
Lengthy lob threats like Jarett Allen? No.
Tweeners like Adebayo? No.

Your anti-BBall crusade grows tiresome. He’s a good backup forced to start. He’s fine when in his proper role.

I love Council! But we can't have an undrafted free agent rookie taking the last shot to close a quarter out in a tight game like this. With that being said, there's a lot more to Council's offensive game than I initially thought. We need to quit effing around and just sign him.

He took some terrible shots in that quarter. Not happy about that $hit he pulled. We had guys open a few times. Smith was wide open one of those chucks that he threw up.

I knew coach John Leguizamo was going to challenge that call.

Yea but that last play was on Maxey and Payne. It's up to them to create a good shot for themselves or their teammates at the end of the shotclock.

I would rather Council signed than Danny Green who cannot move. We have enough vets in Tobi, Batum, Embiid,Hield and now Lowry.

Going back to Payne. This is why he's never been able to be anything more than a reserve in this league. He's very talented, he can run an offense, but he's a chucker at times and it can kill your team. That's why we signed Lowry.

I totally agree, both Maxey and Payne needed to do better right there. It was a bad sequence.

It's getting away from us. We need to really focus these last five minutes. Miami has us right now.

There's no movement on offense right now and no screens are being set. No pick and roll, WTF are we doing? It's an easy stop for Miami if all that's going to happen is Hield and Maxey take turns in one V one setups.

The Miami guards have the luxury of the lob threat , everytime they drive defenders cannot help or else its a lob to Adebayo.

That's why I understand the appeal of big man roll threat that can catch oops

I could be wrong, but I feel like Payne blew this game for us in the third when Maxey went out and he started chucking up shots. That's really when the tide began to shift. Like Phillynative said, the higher IQ team is going to win this one.

Scott Foster hates the Sixers, but it was the right call.

We give up too many offensive rebounds and open threes. Miami just locked in.

It was dumb for Nurse to keep Maxey there for the defensive position when he still had 1 TO
