Just finding out that he's retiring - appreciate your brief time here in Philly, and forever grateful for you gifting us Tyrese. Hopefully, when we win the championship in the next couple years, you'll have a statue outside Broad & Oregon

Great and warranted post/thread. Here's the story for any who didn't know it already. They say that football is a game of inches, but sometimes basketball is as well.

Does he have a Twitter? When we win it all this year we can all go over there and thank him for his contribution.

Honestly, we need to just put him on a Bobby Bonilla contract. He deserves to be cashing checks for as long as Maxey is on the team.

Sixers definitely should give this guy some kind of tribute for his role in getting Maxey here.

Another unsung part of getting the draft pick that became Maxey is Morey. Harden and CP3 had had enough of each other after two years, so HOU ownership told Morey to trade Paul. And he sent him to OKC for Westbrook. Without Paul there, the Thunder are not in position for Muscala heroics to put them in the playoffs.

So Morey (inadvertently) put the Sixers in position to get Maxey, then came over and aced the pick.
