Around five minutes left in the first quarter and Drummond already has eight rebounds. He’s going to be a great addition this year.

Maxey is on one. Dude could compete for the scoring title this year. IMO Embiid takes an intentional step back, and the make Maxey the #1 option.

Kate said Joel Embiid dropped 20 to 25 pounds. I hope that’s true. I thought he should’ve done it a couple years ago. Good news indeed.

He definitely did. There were a bunch of posts on here earlier talking about the additional weight and how jacked he looks.

I’m encouraged the way McCain is shooting. He struggled in summer league it’s obvious he’s working on his game very hard.

Obviously the level of competition is bad so you have to temper expectations, but Yabusele to me looks like a real rotation guy, get on passing lanes, runs in transition and recognize missmatches,

Definitely low competition, not when you look at style of play... The depth on the roster looks high quality.

A significant part of his scoring approach involves hunting mismatches. There were moments when he try to score on Jrue Holiday in the post after USA switched on defense. This stood out to me because it’s rare to see players intentionally try to exploit Holiday.

Drummond 3pt shooting is intriguing.The fact that the coaching staff is encouraging him to take those shots shows their confidence in his ability.

The entire squad played with a lot of energy, largely due to our depth and the confidence that comes from facing a weaker opponent.

The duo of Ricky Council and Yabusele looked just as effective as the Caleb Martin and Kelly Oubre pairing, which is a huge boost for our wing depth moving forward.

McCain shot well but he’s really bad on defense with our switch heavy scheme.
