Embiid, Olympic gold, new contract, Zero points, 1 technical foul and maybe a suspension for an altercation after a game. Never a dull moment as a 76ers fan. He may not play again until the all star break.

Think you missed all the earlier reporting on it.

Shame he didn't have the opportunity to push him earlier. Could have had concurrent suspension and injury time off.

Marcus has had it coming for a long time. He's been writing hit pieces on Joel and almost all things Sixers for years. As his schtick has become stale he's only resorted to upping the ante on his inflammatory antics.

It's bad when all I have to do is see the headline for the link and I immediately know it's him.

I'm hoping the team rallies behind this and adds it to the "us against the world" narrative and we get a fn chip this season.

Adam Slither will take this opportunity to give a lifetime suspension to The Process. He's been flicking his forked tongue waiting for this moment!

Not only the Sixers but he also did it with the Eagles last season when he insisted that AJ Brown was a locker room cancer. He writes sensationalist stories for clicks.

I can't believe the Sixers gave this guy another $200mil. How can you continuously be so soft and get upset with clickbait trash from modern sports media?

I don’t blame Embiid for shoving the guy - most of us would do the same in that situation. I do blame the Sixers PR staff for not separating the two before the shove happened tho.

More details. Turns out the initial post by Keith Pompey was texted, even though he wasn't in the room. Pompey was outside the room, heard the scuffle, then misrepresented the situation, and said he threw a punch. THen had to delete the tweet.
