G13: Sixers @ Heat 11/18 7:30pm ET

Post#1 » by Arsenal » Mon Nov 18, 2024 6:51 pm

Jo is doubtful due to illness. Maxey is still out. Meanwhile, Jimmy Butler is available after missing games with an ankle sprain. That adds up to yet another L and a 2-11 record (lol).

The only reason to watch is to see (future) superstar Jared McCain continue taking over the team. Hoping he goes for 30+.

Give me the number of your employer, I want to see how many sick days you've taken this year.

Who cares, more McCain. Winning that ROY is more important than a championship. Process brain is back.

I don’t really care because I’d rather watch the McCain show anyway, but this is more like being out for months on leave, coming back for a week then calling out sick again

Stealth tank is rolling strong. Sag for Flagg, Debase for Ace.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

I'm more pissed that the guy goes to the Olympics and then isn't ready for the start of the season. Maybe he still wouldn't have been ready to start the season if he stayed home and rehabbed, but it's just a bad look on his part. Then he acts like we should kiss his ass for "all he's done" here. I'm not sure how the Sixers even sell tickets for this garbage team, only an idiot would pay to see this ****.

It really is starting to feel like that is what the team is doing.

It does feel that way. There's no urgency at all. The balance of keeping guys healthy to win a championship only works if they put effort into trying to win a championship. Otherwise, it's all trying to prevent guys from getting hurt and no trying to win.

It feels like right now the ratio of keeping guys healthy and trying to win skews 95/5 in trying to prevent injury. That's not going to work. If they want to start winning their best players need to actually play. How about this: if it's a close game in the 4th quarter and Paul George has hit his minute limit continue to play him. His leg isn't going to fall off because he played a few more minutes in a game to prevent your team from falling to 2-11.

It's hard to take this team seriously when they don't seem to be pushing the envelope by trying to win, like at all.

Sounds like Embiid is definitely out. Is there any reason to watch this game? Im not sure watching McCain is good enough to watch what is likely a fairly big loss. I honestly could care less about this team at this point. They get healthy and run off a 20-5 run or something maybe Ill start caring. They look like a playin team to me at best, because Embiid and George are likely to miss signficant games again at some point, and a first round matchup against the Celtics or Cleveland doesnt look particularly appealling to me.

McCain is turning into the next Herro but with less range, as they will face each other tonight. That is high praised as a prolific scorer in this league like Tyler was as a rook! If McCain come off the bench as a rook, he should win the 6th man award at this pace. Book it!

I have other things to do, but I will try to watch it. That said, its hard to care about a team that doesn't seem to care.

Good luck Sixers, but its hard for me to care as I have a life too. Cash those checks, idiots. Jojo be mad, all you have done for Philly is cry, whine to the refs, and disappoint.

I love me some Jojo, but it is what it is. Assume that you have done all this for Philly....give results not excuses this late in your career.

Bet you didn't think I would say that.

We were probably better off building around Jrue Holiday @ this point. Teams that were 3-4 years behind us like the Magic, Wolves, Kings have lapped us. And all we have to show for it is an sympathy MVP. lol. If you wasn't born in this area I have no idea why you would choose to be a fan of this team

Yikes is this a bad take. Herro wasn't good as a rookie and it's taken him years and I'm still not sure he has the poise and control that McCain has and what range do you think Herro has that McCain doesnt?
