Already saw the news on Joel so no surprise there. But when did Drummond get hurt?

Ok, so no Joel which makes sense. It's the Knicks. I mean, let's face it. Joel is a bully until he meets a bigger bully. NY is too gritty, mean, and tough for him so he's out. Run with the foot issue! Run it into late April. PG probably won't play either. Maxey looked to be in considerable pain the other night when he hurt his hand. Probably just needs to be out until late April.
I want to see way more Justin Edwards tonight and of course RC4. Both of these guys are fearless, both have something to prove. Let's run it, trade punches with NY with what we've got and I'll be happy. Another L is on the way! Keeping our pick should be priority. We can continue to slowly gain ground in the takeathelon by losing tonight. Oh...Check it...
Jazz vrs Hornets tonight...It's an automatic win for us. Especially is Utah wins, but either way we gain a game.
Nets @ Clipper...Hey, it could happen. DLo, Cam Johnson should be available so they have a chance.
Mavs @ Pels, Zion is back and that gives them a huge boost if he can stay with it. Dallas is banged up, it's a B2B for them, Pels can win this.
Boston @ Raptors - I mean there's no way.

Is this what it feels like to be a Hornets or Jaz fan?

Can't understate just how much this organization failed their fans by signing Embiid to that long-term extension (well before they even had to).

No because their tanks are better.
This franchise... Stupid
They've already won too many games to tank considering their circumstances. They're playing for the play in and just wasting everyone's time. Nurse is clearly checked out, and he's partly to blame for guys stupid theory that Joel needs to play more last year. The previous regime had been resting him periodically already, and I was okay with the idea of playing a little bit more. But definitely not playing him when he was hurt in the regular season. Idiotic

Is it possible Embiid lied about the severity of his knee condition to help him get his contract extension?

Supposedly his knee isn't why he's out right now. If it is then they're lying right now

Well guaranteed contracts are good for MLB I guess, but horrible for the NBA. It's easy to see how bad guaranteed contracts are for the NFL, but these NBA players just don't deserve it anymore cause of the nature of the game.
Take away the privilege, time and time again they are showing they don't deserve it or the sport is showing that its too hard on their bodies to give guaranteed contracts in the first place.

I understand that, but the knee was and still is a major concern, keeping him from playing.
Just wish the contract could be voided if it was entered into in bad faith.

I'm sure the Sixers have a pretty good idea about Embiid's medicals.

It looks like Paul George has given up on playing team-oriented basketball. Just iso's.

our offense is just **** weaves outside the 3pt line looking for 3s that we will miss or a late shot clock heave

They also don't move the ball around nearly enough for it's lack of shot creators. The only player that seems to have this concept is Yabu. Meanwhile on the other end they are constantly getting beat by ball movement.

About a month ago the organization came out saying that they have five or six doctors confirm that it's okay to move forward with a contract due to his knee. After that statement, it's pretty much impossible to get that voided

Tallest player on the floor is PG and they still can't get back on defense
