G52: Sixers @ Bucks 2/9/25 2pm ET ESPN - Hubie Brown's last game

A nice (or not so nice) appetizer before the big game this evening. Giannis is out. Embiid and Yabu are GTD. If Yabu is out again we're in trouble.

National TV again. Let's see if these guys have any pride after getting humiliated on Friday night. Hoping to see Grimes get a ton of mins and maybe even start. Would be great to get a Jared Butler sighting instead of the corpse of Lowry.

Also Hubie Brown's last broadcast. Farewell to a legend of the game.

We're favored by 1.5-points but I don't have any faith in this team.

But the most important thing for today... is the Eagles winning the damn Super Bowl!

We're sorry Hubie, that you have to retire watching this dreck.

The Super Bowl is where the focus is at.

I was wondering if anybody else caught this. It’s so impressive that a 91 year old man is so sharp, prepared, and has been able to maintain such a schedule for so long.

He recently lost his wife and son, so it’s been a tough year him.

If he was assigned to this game before the season, I’m sure it was expected to be two eastern conference powerhouses. Looks like Giannis is out and Embiid is questionable.

We are kind of in no-man’s land. If we lose, I think maybe we will somehow win the lottery and keep our pick, but that isn’t likely. If we win, at least we could possibly make the playoffs and see what a healthy Embiid, George, and Maxey can do. However, I don’t know how healthy Embiid’s knees can really get so that isn’t likely. Not making the playoffs and losing a top 10 pick would be a disaster of a season though, so we need the win.

And it would send good vibes leading into the Eagles game.

Love Hubie Brown. I've been a fan of his since I was 7 years old.

I had no idea Hubie was 91, wow! I remember when he won Coach of the Year with Memphis like 20 years ago so I guess he was already old then. But congrats to him, always loved his commentary.

More Oubre please! Need more wide open three bricks/dribbling off feet and less other stuff.

For all the athleticism Jo appears to have lost, he truly can roll out of bed and drop 20 and 10.

Embiid and Tyrese on pace for 60 and 80, respectively. That would be an NBA first, to say the least.

There are just too many guys I don't like on this team that Nurse absolutely loves.
