Should the 76ers treat Ace Bailey as a villain?

Sports can be even more fun when there's a villain to root against. When Ace Bailey visits Wells Fargo, should we treat him like an absolute villain?

Why? He couldn't be more irrelevant from a Sixers standpoint.

I don't think he'll be good enough for us to even pay attention to him.

I won’t even think about him once he’s playing PST games.

WGAF about this kid? He's not going to be in the league come 2030 anyway.

Regardless of my personal opinion of Bailey, those who believe that our fans are simply going to forget about the crap that he and his camp pulled during the pre-draft process will be in for a rude awakening when he visits Philly. After all, they've booed lesser name players for less. Anyone remember Nemanja Bjelica? Jerryd Bayless? Those are just a few that I can name off the top of my head. I'm sure there are far more.

He's definitely getting booed.

Again, the Governor says on Air that he called the team and advised against drafting someone that doesn't want to be here, makes that more of a wide spread local story than just online follower stuff.

The fan reaction stuff is all in good fun, that's what makes sports fun.

The only thing worth booing about Ace Bailey is the disappointment of him not living up to the hype he was sold with.

No. He’s 18. Anyone with sense knows his agent is the one that has him looking bad. Pretty embarrassing for a governor to insert himself in the whole Ace fiasco.

I think the Jazz will have much more problems with him haha. But he may change anyway after he sits a while on the bench and they make him earn his minutes.

A Rutgers basketball player as a villain? Sports are cooked.
