Oh yeah, getting some energy vibes watching VJ play! Already 3 foul shots!

Drummond has zero bounce anymore. Looks like he's 50 out there.

VJ is either splashing the three or throwing up one of the worst attempts you'll ever see.

I like Nurse’s rotation so far. Also seeing VJ as primary point of attack/facilitator more than last game, which allows Maxey to be more of scorer.

I do think if Embiid is somewhat like his own self, the Maxey, Grimes, VJ, PG, Embiid lineups will be great on offense. VJ and Maxey (and Grimes really) can hurt the defense on closeouts. It'll really depend on Embiid also throwing good passes.

Another off the dribble airball three for VJ. Form looks good but he's gotta work on that touch.

Even though it's been rough at times, I see the vision with VJ. We won't see him really take off until next year.

Broome also seems more patient to score than just trying to get the shot up unlike last game

Justin Edwards is destroyed after that block. Time to sub him for Emoni Bates now

I’d put Hunter Sallis or Gordon here instead of Chandler.

Im one of Maxeys biggest fans, but since last season, it appears he reached ( or ir is very close) to his ceiling. Hes pretty good player, all star level, but i dont think he will be much better than that.

Maybe he can became a better passer, but i think his mid range jumper is bad, and hes trending to be be a low 30% 3 pt shooter with volume. I thought he was gonna be a 40% shooter, but after he became the main guard, his % cratered sadly( i know his numbers are affected because our team is crap, but he got worse).His game is basicaly run for the layup in a straight line or shoot 3s..

I still have McCain with bigger upside than Maxey. His shot is pure everywhere and he's crafty around the rim.
