The Hornets are looking for help to bolster there bench. Willie Green would be the perfect fit and they have several expirings. Get it done Ed.

They don't have any expirings above the minimum from what I can see. Not a good fit.
edit- didn't see Bernard Robinson the first time. So maybe him and Bowen? Would that even work?

Arvydas Macijauskas and ryan bowen would get it done.

Marcus Vinicius, Ryan Bowen, and Bernard Robinson together will get Willie Green a one way ticket out of Philly. Willie has been playing extremely well...

Green for Robinson, Ely and Bowen works. We could then cut Ely and they could re-sign him for depth if they wanted.
Green would give them a solid, double digit point scoring option off the bench.

Kinda tough to trade a player you don't have.

They got him in the Wesley trade...
Oh wait they cut him

The cut and re-sign thing does not work anymore. I think the NBA has now a rule which is prohibiting such as procedure.
As much as I would like to get rid of Green, I just do not see it happen...

They waived him immediately after the trade. He's a FA

The bigger trade above involves both Evans and Green. We would get all of their expirings, plus Julian Wright.
They dealt for Steven Hunter, before he failed his physical, 2 years ago... so maybe this is possible.
Green and Evans would definitely make them a deeper team on the bench and both players could provide quality minutes.

I thought these two teams may be a match as well, but I don't think Julian Wright will be part of the deal. If they can trade Green and or Evans for expirings, I think most (that are able) would do cartwheels.

They can match expirings and include Armstrong....not sure if he's key to their team, but his deal matches up with 2 expirings for WG (not sure who...I ran the checker a few days ago).

The Evans/Green trade works again if you take out Wright and put in Armstrong.

Not as long as Bernard Robinson still isn't on the Hornets.

What about Willie G and Evans for Bobby Jackson and Julian Wright + a 2nd rnd pick.
BJ only has 1 year left and may be able to be re routed. Julian Wright gives us another kid to throw into the mix.

If you can get Julian Wright for Willie Green, Then Ed gets a raise
