Check out the line he threw up there tonight. Could he be the next Bruce Bowen or Raja Bell or John Salmons?

Tonight's line..

40 minutes (started with Rudy Gay out)
20 points
13 rebounds
7 assists
3 steals
1 block
+24 in +/-

oh, and 1 turnover

He would never have that success here. The same with Bell, Bowen, Hughes, etc.

At least we traded the guy.... the Nuggets straight up cut him.

As for his game... every dog has his day. Need an example? Willie Burton put up 53 points and held the record for points in a game by a Sixer at the Spectrum.

Watched on TV.

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

That said, I liked Bobby Jones, and would have liked to keep him, but understand why he went.

i think its the same for Denver. Had to cut him for $$$ purposes.
Nice to see him get minutes tho. He was stuck behind Melo and Kleiza.

I live in Memphis. And when I found out that Bobby was starting, I was like "meh." My friend tried to tell me he will play well for the Grizz, but I didnt want to hear it. Now he wont let it go that bobby played like a damn man last night.

I saw this guy play last year, and I said this after I got back from the game: He is not an NBA player.

It's just the truth. He doesn't belong at this level.

He did have a great game, and maybe he might develop into a player who can play, but I can garuntee you that he will not be missed.

Yes, and in a game in December 2006, Carney had 25 pts, 8 rebounds, and two steals. You know what that means now? Nothing. It was ONE GAME.

The bottom line is that Bobby Jones is averaging 4 ppg, and 2 rpg. Analyze that.
