Something going on with Andre Miller????

This may just be wishful thinking on my part, but Andre Miller had 14 assists thru 3 quarters last night and didn't even sniff the court in the 4th Qtr?????? I know some people have said that Cheeks just went with the hot hands....but for the entire quarter?????
Now I read an article about practice today, and the only ones missing are Kevin Ollie and Andre Miller.....hmmmmmm!?!?!?!

Following the 76ers 101-96, come-from-behind win over the Wizards on Tuesday night, Head Coach Maurice Cheeks rewarded his team with a 10:45 a.m. optional practice on Wednesday. Taking Cheeks up on the offer were Thaddeus Young, Lou Williams, Louis Amundson, Shavlik Randolph and Rodney Carney. Other Sixers, including Andre Iguodala, Reggie Evans, Gordan Giricek, Willie Green, Calvin Booth and Jason Smith were also at the team

I like to see that Lou and Thad are going to optional practices.

You'll lose your mind if you start reading into these sorts of things. It's possible Miller gets moved but I don't think these are clues to a pending trade.

It was an optional practice. Thaddeus (a rookie) was the only starter who attended.
you're definitely reading too much into it.

What about last nights game....doesn't it seem odd that he didn't play the 4th Qtr??? I didn't see the game so I don't know how he played while he was in there.

he didnt play the 4th quarter bc the young lineup got hot...thats it...
it was nice of cheeks to reward the young guys for coming back by sticking with them...sometimes u can play great as an individual but when the backups come in they lead a charge...that happened...
andre was not benched for poor play, he just happened to be out when they got hot...nothing more to it

Mo has gone without Miller in the 4th before in similar circumstances. Miller got his 30 minutes.

Didn't they say Miller was riding the stationary bike or something or did I mistake that with someone else. Maybe he was just banged up and the young guys were going so Mo left them in the game.

If the young guys want any sort of PT or chance to start. They better be at every optional practice.

The Young guys make a run EVERY TIME they're out there. They're good guys with good work ethic. when was the last time you could say that about a group of guys this age in this league.

There is nothing wrong with giving the young guys some burn espically when they are hot. Its tough as a coach to pull out a player or change up a squad that is getting your team back in the game.
Even if Miller was on the block Ed may have asked Mo to play Miller some more to help display his game to other teams who may be interested in picking up a quality PG. I think that it is unlikely that Miller gets traded this season.
