Ok so I'm starting to get totally peeved about the basketball coverage here in Canada, all we see is San Antonio, Cleveland, Phoenix and of course Raptors out the ying yang. My question is if I decide to break the bank and get league pass (it aint cheap here), do I have to put up with Phily's opponents broadcasters because for some reason I believe this is the case. It's probably not a big deal and I'd rather put up with Tommy Heinson than only see the Sixers 4 or 5 times a year.

It's up to you, since I live on the east coast I get all the Sixers, Knicks, and Nets games for free and I just have digital cable (no league pass). I woudl wait unitl the sixers get some more talent like next year and get it next year so you can watch the sixers from start to end and not just half the games.

league pass gets me the our opposing teams commentators about 60% of the time if i had to put a rough number on it.

Ok thanks man, I can definitely live with that...This is a dream to be able to watch any Sixers game, or any other team for that matter, I feel like I just climbed out from under a rock or something.

further question, kind of related:

is there any way to stream nba games over the internet unless you have digital cable & league pass?

the mlb has a subscription thing where you can sign up just for streaming telecasts, but as far as i can tell the nba doesn't offer this.

is this correct or am i missing something?

unfortunately 9 months out of the year i don't have a TV, much less cable, and i have to watch games at friends' houses, at bars, at parents' house, etc.
