OT: Sixer All Stars

Post#1 » by tk76 » Thu Feb 14, 2008 7:53 pm

Trying to keep the board going over All-Star break where we have no Sixers to watch

I believe the Sixers are the only team who would make the playoffs without an All Star participant. To address this snub I propose new All Star weekend events to raise our teams level of participation:

1. The True Rising Young Stars Game: The best 19-20 tear Olds v. 21 Year Olds
-Thad (and Durant) Highlighting against Lou (and Bynum)

2. The Young Stars Game: 25 and Under game
-Iguodala gets to go against Howard, DWade, Lebron ect

3. The un-skilled challenge: The skills challenge but with offensive stiffs
-Evans and Booth should make it interesting

4. The All Ugly Team v the Heartthobs team
-Booth and Amundson (if you include hair.) KK gets to match up with Bizarro Korver. Maybe we can bring in Bavcic?

5. The team 5X100 relay-a team representative at each position
- Lou-Carney-Dala-Thad-Sam woould win by a lap

6. The All invisible cap eating team- You finally get to see if them play:
-CWebb, McKie

7. The player/ref challenge: Players compete to draw phantom fouls and beg for calls. Screaming when hit, whining, stare downs...
-Iguodala in the whining and stare down, Evans in the Flopping and acting amazed when called for a foul, Miller for yelling out when he is hit. Of course former Sixer AI would win in all categories

thats to many games. I like the way it is now Rook vs Sophs, skills, 3 competition, and dunk. That's all you need.
