See.... I was thinking of creating a similar thread earlier but it was for a totally different reason.

I hate comcast.. well, comcast sportsnet to be exact... because they've hired Steve Bucci from CBS3 to now co-anchor SportsNite. This network is a complete waste of sports discussion and is filled with retreads from other Philly area sports programming. I hate listening to these guys (Neil Hartman, Bucci, and most of the DNL panelists) discuss NBA hoops. Most of them have no understanding of the current game or the CBA rules and so I have to hear their "holier than thou" rhetoric.

Sorry for the rant... I'm good for one every 2.375 years.

Yea comcast sucks, they all have this money yet there channels are sooo sports ghetto, and HD isn't up to par with ESPN HD and you dont get the same excitment you would watching on espn or tnt. Watching comcast sportsnetwork compared to espn is like watching your high schools morning annoucements...soo ghetoo.

Can't guarantee it'll work for you, but look into Sopcast. It's a program that lets you tune into various channels that you normally can't access; for example, I used it to watch a couple Eagles games when I was down in DC. It's heavily Euro-centric, but I believe they have access to NBA games.

I hate when the Flyers are playing on Comast Sportsnet, and Comcast puts the Sixers on that WPSG or CW-57 channel, whatever it's called. I can't find it anywhere on the channel lineup. Anyone else have this problem?

On Saturday against Miami, the Sixers game is on that channel, how are you supposed to watch it?

On the channel it's on channel 8 or 13 if it's not on 38.

edit: The Game will be on WPSG which is 13 on Saturday night.

My cable must be different... I have Comcast but I'm from the Scranton area, which I'm guessing they have a different lineup than in the Philly area. Channel 13 here is QVC.

Yeah QVC is 11 on mine. You can probably just go on yahoo and check it on the tv section. But it shouldn't be to hard just to flick through the channels to find it Sat night.
