I suspect that some of the Knicks could be traded tomorrow so it's possible we face them without some of their players but even if that doesn't happen, I have no faith in them winning back to back road games hence...

My Prediction: 76ers by 5+

I wouldn't have any faith either but considering you are also coming off a back to back and a blowout loss to Minny I wouldn't put it past you to lose to a crappy team like the Knicks. Hopefully that game last night taught you a lesson to not take crap lightly.

Wait... I'm not so sure that the Sixers are in a spot to call another team crap considering the fact that they are also significantly below .500. Either way, this game could go any which way and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

Did any of you guys catch the little tantrum on the Knicks bench last night between Zach and Nate? That team puts the FUN back in dysfunctional.

This isn't in ESPN's highlights but it is in the AP story....

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Near the end of four quarters of dull basketball, Zach Randolph livened things up by throwing a cup of water toward New York Knicks teammate Nate Robinson on the bench during a timeout. Robinson retaliated by throwing a towel at Randolph.

In the bizarre world of Knicks basketball, the quick and nasty spat was just what the team needed. New York promptly went out and set a franchise record for points in overtime.

Rather than post the code to embed the video... how about just a link to the video?

I found it and WOW!!!! This just confirms two things for me:

1) I have absolutely NO INTEREST in Zach Randolph no matter what happens this summer

2) Isiah Thomas has no control of that team and shouldn't have a job.

People make fun of the whole "character guy" thing- but the Knicks are so beyond dysfunctional I could not imagine rooting for them until they blow that thing up. I actually feel bad for knicks fans- who may be loud, but are loyal.

I'm not going to feel that bad for the Knicks right now because of the fact that for the first time in a long time, there is a little light shining at the end of the tunnel.

Their contract situation is probably the best it's been in a decade. No Allan Houston, no Jerome Williams, no Steve Francis. If Dolan can grow a brain and fire Isiah Thomas as soon as this season is over, the new GM/coach will probably inherit the following...

- A Top 5 draft pick
-Stephon Marbury's $21MIL expiring contract
-Malik Rose's $7.7MIL expiring contract

Those three things should be able to get a new GM some solid return with his first 12 months on the job. Also, like always... the Knicks have some bad contracts but these bad contracts are better than they've been in a long time. I'm pretty sure Curry and Randolph are tradeable and entering this summer Jerome James and Quentin Richardson will only have 2 years left on their deals which will help increase the probability of them getting moved.

Of course, in order for ANY of this to have a chance of turning into something good, Isiah needs to be fired but not before he can completely run this team into this ground this season and get the new GM the best draft pick possible.

there's nothing sweeter than listening to despondent new york radio announcers.... and subsequent talkradio..... all at the hands of a completely salary-free, flexible sixers team.

this is great. i'm loving 35-15 out of the gate.... Now it's 58-28. The play-by-play guy here literally said "Jesus" on the air in despair, and now he's actually screaming the score. love the AM.

go Thad.

Looks like extending Mo may have worked. Not the biggest Mo fan but you had to either extend him or fire him at this point. It was only a year so it wasn't a bad idea
Don't worry, that builds character and you can never have too much character...
