It seems that there are alot of new posters on here and I for one am very happy that there are. Why dont we introduce ourselves to the new posters and they introduce themselves to us.
Im andrew from SJ in Pennsauken next to Camden ( grew up in Camden all my life ). Have loved the Sixers ever since I saw AI putback dunk on the Raptors when they still had Damon Stoudamire. Current fav Sixer is Thad followed closely by Dala.

I'm Tom in Baltimore. Grew up in West Chester and moved down here less than two years ago when I graduated college (from PSU). Though I'm an Eagles season tickets holder the Sixers are always my favorite Philly team, all the way back to when Hersey Hawkins was my favorite Sixer. My obsession over the Sixers grew immensely during the Pat Croce years since I was able to get a first-hand look at a lot of things as my dad and Croce are old friends from High School.
Anyway, I was lurking for awhile (most of the year) and finally realized I should register and contribute to the discussion.
Favorite Sixer is Lou Williams ever since the summer of 2006 when my friend (who's brother was best friends with Korver) told me to watch out for the kid as Korver said he is legit.

I'm Ryan from Grand Falls-Windsor Newfoundland, Canada. Lived here all my life (28 years). To tell you the truth it's pretty damn hard to be a Philly fan here in Raps Country, thank God for the internet, and RealGM in particular. I've been to two games in Toronto when they have played the Sixers. Both wins by Philly I might add! I'm hoping to make a trip to Philly in the next couple of years, when they are contenders and there is actually a crowd
Like so many Sixers fans I've liked them since the finals run with Iverson, but I've been a fan ever since. Favorite Sixer is Dalembert, I met him in a Toronto mall before one of the games and he was super nice about it. Everyone knows that I've been a supporter of him, even through the hard times. I also am a fan of Dre, Thad & Lou.

Well, you guys know me on here, but I will play along.
I'm from Jersey, been a sixer fan since 1996 when Philly drafted Iverson. I was really into college ball, and Iverson was my favorite player so when he got drafted by Philly they were my team. As the years went on I hated Iverson more and more so now I am a 76ers fan instead of a Iverson fan.
My favorite sixer is Iguodala

Born and Raised in Philly(Mt.Airy/West Oak Lane)
Freshman in College in Atlanta.
I started watching Sixers basketball(basketball in general) in the 2000-2001 season, when the Sixers met the Lakers in the Finals.
I considered the Mavericks my favorite team for about one or two years in middle school, but I'm glad that fad wore out.
The Sixers are my favorite sports team, and they will most likely be my favorite team for a long time.

I'm Sean from Cincinnati (obviously), but I grew up in Abington, went to high school in Reading and went to college at Widener (Chester).
I'm 27, so while I was around during the good ol' days, I don't really remember them, but I grew up on Barkley and went to a ton of games at the Spectrum when the team was awful and the stars were guys named Barros and Weatherspoon. I'd have to say the Sixers are my favorite professional sports franchise by far.
I was never a big Iverson fan, but learned to live with him. I was a season ticket holder until I moved out here in 2004. Unfortunately, I traded in my Sixers tickets for Bengals tickets in the Natti.
I've been a poster for a while, but really only post around the trade deadline, draft free agency, etc. Because unfortunately I can't watch games, so I just review the box scores. But with 2008 really determining the future of this franchise, you'll probably see a bit more from me.
I'm can't say I have a favorite current Sixer although I'm incredibly excited about Thad's potential and attitude, but my two favorite all-time Sixers are Barkley and Bobby Jones (had the milk growth chart on the wall).

Being an old man of 35, I was spoiled by growing up in the Philly area during the run that saw the Phillies, Flyers, Sixers and Eagles all top teams. Have stayed a big Eagles and Sixer's fan, while being more a fair weather fan of the other teams.
Now live in Chicago, but have watched nearly every Sixer game for the past six years. Hopefully watching all of those losses will make it all that much sweeter if/when we turn it around.
Watching the team build from the Spoon years back to contention made the early AI teams that much more rewarding.
Also look forward to seeing this board build up as people jump aboard with the team headed for an upswing. Credit to the mods for keeping this place respectable and not overrun by trolls and silly fantasy trade threads.

Im not sure if Im a NEW POSTER or known, but Im the SportSavant from Haddon Heights/Barrington New jerz.
I call into the mid-day show on 610 wip, or whenever THE CUZ is in for Howard Eskin.
I have real serious sports issues, as I watch about 15-20 college games a week, not to mention the nat'l ESPN games (especially the West).
im 33 (bday on the 24th), remember not being able to stay awake to watch Mo Cheeks dunk in the FORUM......
back to followin this team mostly because they were in such need of rebuilding--and since I've watched sooo much college, I was going out of my mind last yr thinking we could get a top 3 guy....
and deja vu' this year.....
and next year

Hey.
I'm John...30 in South Philly. I grew up in West Chester and moved to the city in '96 for college.
Been a Sixer fan since I used to watch Doc and Cheeks with my grandmother as a kid on her tiny TV in the kitchen.
My favorite current Sixer is Thad...with Lou Will a close second. I love the youth movement and really think it's headed a good direction. I enjoy watching developing teams just as much as when we were in the finals.
I was a season ticket holder until 2 seasons ago, but am considering going back.
Favorite all-time Sixer - Andrew Toney.
SIXERS24....what year did you graduate high school and which school?

Sup new guys born in Abington lived in the area growing up. Love all Philly sports mostly 76ers, Eagles, Flyers put up with the Phillies but like the Braves also. Was formally named DaAnswer3 for my love of Iverson who caught my interest when he was drafted by the 76ers. Changed name when he left town and stuck with the 76ers not selling out to become a Denver fan. Enjoy going to games fav games MJ's last game in Philly and 2001 playoff game vs the Pacers. Only time I miss a game is if I need to work other than that I have seen every game since Iverson joined the team.

Wait... 37 is not the elder statesman on this board since there are a couple of guys who will top you. As for me, I'm 29 (approaching the big 3-0 in a month) and obviously am a huge Sixer fan. I've belonged to this board for a while now (5+ years) and have seen it go thru many phases but I have to say that even though it's a small group of guys who post here now... I feel like it's a really strong group of people that show up here consistently.
It's cool to see more people rolling in and join in our Sixer Nation so I hope I get to talk hoops with all of you a lot more as the clock ticks on.

I think Dond is our elder statesman. And as a older poster, let me be the first to say we should all remember to respect our elders...

I'm 19 in Canada, obviously. Iverson was the reason for my Sixers fandom obviously. I hated Vince Carter, so the Raps were out of the question. Took a couple years off of school, but I'm taking broadcasting in May.
I guess I'm still one of the younger regulars here.

I am 18 years and I am currently residing in Vienna or more precisely in the 23rd district.

When I first came in touch with basketball, I was around 6 or 7 years. I became a Sixers fan in the offseason 2001 when I read an article about that team and its injury woes. That really impressed me and since I really like blue-collar attitude, I became a die-hard 76ers fan. I have no real connection with Philadelphia but I really like the city. I have already been there twice.
My favorite players are the Andres and Thad Young. I like players who have smarts and an altruistic attitude. So whoever meets that criteria, you have a new fan.
