Game Time: 10:30PM EST
TV: CSN, NBALP
Radio: WIP 610
Games Remaining: 21 (Home: 11; Away: 10)
Records
76ers: 27-33 (Won 1 Straight)
Clippers: 19-38 (Lost 5 Straight)
Previous Meetings
Feb. 9th @ PHI: 76ers 101, Clippers 80
Probable Starters

*** Just because I haven't seen their photos much, the starting PG for the Clips is Brevin Knight and the starting PF is Josh Powell
If we had lost to the Suns the other night, I would have felt really good about winning this game... but instead, I now feel like this will be a close one till the end. That said, the Clips are just so short-handed at this point that I don't believe they can close a game out hence...
My Prediction: Sixers by 5+

29-30
7.

28-33
8.

-.1.0
9.

10.

While I share similar feelings regarding Knight, he's going to get abused by Old Man Steady Miller in the post tonight... so will Dickau... so will Barret

No doubt. He's just a real solid back-up who's always been underappreciated.

Agreed. I was kind of hoping we'd sign him last summer. I think Lou's pg skills could have really benefited if we had Miller AND Knight to mentor him.

Don't jinx us. Otherwise it's your fault if we lose.
2 years or so ago I would be uncomfortable coming into this game. We used to let slip the game out of our hand. In that regard we made some progress so I am pretty confident that we come out and play strong basketball. We still cannot take the Clippers for granted. The Sixers should play with a sense of urgency and continue their aggressive defense.
Watch out for Kaman who struggled at the last game...

I think Maggette has been hot lately. I know he had like 20 in the 1st half vs. Denver the other night.
I am starting to drink the kool-aid after beating the Suns so I say we win by 6.

Where is Al Thorton in the Clips starting 5 ? I believe he dropped like 33 or so on the Nuggets the other night. So who will have a better game. Old man Al or the Young'n Thad?

I appreciate that some of you are now warming up to the idea of the Sixers making the playoffs... but let's not get crazy and say that this is a "must-win" game. Did I miss something? Did the Eastern Conference suddenly become the Western Conference where we are competing against teams with above .500 records?
If we lose this game, it doesn't mean that we're going to miss the playoffs. It means the Hawks need to win only 3 more games the rest of the way rather than 4 in order to knock us out.
It's comical to watch so many people press the panic button for various reasons. When we were competing for the Rose Bowl we had "must-lose" games in December and now that we're in the beginning of March and in the playoff hunt because of how sloppy the East is... we have "must-win" games.
I believe I am required to post a memorable scene from one of my favorite movies.
The Dude: Sh*t! Walter, you f**k... you f**ked it up! You f**ked it up! Her life was in our hands, man!
Walter Sobchak: Nothing is f**ked here, Dude. Come on, you're being very un-Dude. They'll call back.
