Coincidence? Maybe making the playoffs and taking a latter pick could still land us a decent PF? On second thought, he's slated by many as being another 4/3 combo - and he's left handed. Sounds like someone already on our roster. Guess we'd be better served having a bruising PF with some girth. Besides, this kid sounds an awful lot like Charlie Villanueva and I think CV poses less of a gamble.

I love this kid, but does anyone besides me think we'll need more beef at the 4 if we plan to keep Sam and play with Western teams?

If he really has enough upside to be the next Chris Bosh I say we grab him.
Perhaps we can grab Diop in free agency to back up Sam. That should make up for Randolph's lack of muscle.

Our lineup would be like this

Miller/Williams
Iguodala/Green
Young/Carney
Anthony Randolph/Evans/Smith
Dalembert/Diop/Smith

If not Diop, we could swing a deal for someone like Jeff Foster or Joel Pryzbilla to back up Sam

The draft pick and FA $ both need to go for big men.

huh?

that's the most wrong mock draft i could imagine. They have the Sixers picking 14th, in the lottery?!!! Hello? Sixers will be 17th at the lowest IMO.

Also.... this Randolph kid everyone's falling in love with.... He not a post-up player.
