I might think of this as a letdown game after big wins against championship caliber teams but we played the Bulls a little more than a week ago and they jumped all over us for the first three quarters. Because of that, I think the Sixers will come out and take it to Chicago hence...

My Prediction: 76ers by 10+

Did we start Young last week against the Bulls. I hope to see 30+ min for Young and Lou. I don't think Green is back 100% healthy yet.

Green wasn't available for the last time we played the Bulls so we started Young at the 3. It'll be interesting to see if Mo starts Evans in this game given how much of an impact Thad has had on recent games and Drew Gooden isn't exactly a huge threat on the block.

Quick question. Since the rocket's streak has ended, are we the hottest team in the league now?? Its a fair question since we have beaten some really good teams. Only team I would think would be ahead of us would be Boston since they won all of those Texas games.

The key factor is that this is a home game. Bulls straight up suck on the road.

I believe Comcast showed a graphic last night that showed that we have the 2nd best record in the league since Feb. 5th. I believe the breakdown was something like this....

Rockets 20-4
Sixers 18-5

This is a perfect spot for a trap game and we HAVE to avoid it. Hopefully we realize this and come out with fire, if we play lackadaisically this team will walk all over us (and I doubt we'll come back from 15+ down a second time).

That said, Sixers by 10ish.

Well, the expectations certainly have been raised around here. Early in the season there was little expectations to win ANY GAMES and now the expectations are to win EVERY GAME. I predict they won't win EVERY GAME. I doubt that they lose this game because I just do not think the Bulls are tough enough to beat the Sixers. The Sixers are what I call a "rugged" team. They fight you to win the game.

Sixers by 8.

Weird stat of the day... we have a winning record against the West at 15-14. If we can beat Phoenix on Friday, we would finish at 16-14. We have to be one of only a handful of teams in the East with a winning record against the West.

He has 29/14 and counting tonight :o

I'm pretty sure Evans is going to start. Gooden isn't great but he's a pretty big guy, Thad generally doesn't start when the other team has a decently sized 4.

We were just talking about this in the playoff discussion thread... apparently PFs who leave LeBron and Cleveland in the rearview go on to become Hall of Famers. First Boozer and now Gooden is throwing up some sick games. 31 and 16 tonight and he's been putting up 20 and 10 fairly consistently since the trade.

Looks like Evans is getting the start tomorrow against Karl Malone.

By that logic, maybe we should have tried to get Varejo?

We still can although I'm not a firm believer in this trend or that Gooden will continue to play this way beyond the end of this season.

Saw the Chicago / Atlanta game last night. Noah and Gooden played really well. We need to stick Evans on Gooden early and and throw off his rhythm - or throw Thad on him and get Gooden in foul trouble trying to guard him. Jason Smith on Noah could be a good matchup for us as well. I don't want to see Sam picking up early fouls against the spastic Noah.

This team hasn't been in a position to have "let-down" games since they weren't really a "good" team with "win streaks" and such....but since we are now in that position, I see this as the best chance for one. This game will say a lot about the guys and a TON about Mo. If they can go in and win I will be VERY impressed

Sixers should take this one. Bulls are bad on the road.

Also, this game will probably have a fourth quarter, which is bad for the Bulls.
