Sorry for creating a new thread, but I just felt it would be cleaner this way for voting purposes.

These matchups should be a little more interesting (balanced) than the 1st round matchups. If there is a tie, the higher seed will advance. I will leave this open until Saturday, then I will post the 3rd round matchups.

Bold your picks (most people seemed to prefer that method in the 1st rd)

Bracket 1 - Unrestricted FA

For me... I think this is really going to come down to Elton Brand versus Lamar Odom.

If Brand didn't tear an ACL (major injury) and find himself turning 30 next season... he would easily take this. But when I consider all of the factors and style of play... part of me leans toward Odom taking this contest.

By the way, how the hell could be acquire Odom? I could see us getting him had the Lakers not obtained Gasol since we could have taken Odom and sent cap space to a team like Indiana in a trade for O'Neal... but now the Lakers are set and so I doubt Odom goes anywhere.

The only situation in which I could see Odom coming here is if we were able to obtain a stud swingman for our cap space and then decided that we wanted Odom instead. The only name I can come up with that might apply is AK47.

Can anyone else think of a team that might be looking to ditch some salary in the form of solid SF???
